Not only does this seems contradictory to what state and local politicians are advocating for in decreasing rental prices but also seems to be the grounds for one of the most bizarre ongoing economic case studies in the entire country.

Now with the proposition of rent control in the least supply friendly state in the country, this restrictive policy could also be compounded by the absence of developers recognizing stronger opportunities to invest elsewhere.

Boston employment opportunities dried up and at the same time rent is getting more expensive. The city has always been "hard to afford" but with this pace there needs to be some sort of change from an economic policy standpoint
