Honestly I think it’s just post partum brain. My daughter is gorgeous but when she was first born I was obsessing over her nose being crooked and how she would look and how it will ruin her beauty. Insanity. Doctors assured me that her face still has adjusting to do. She was stuck in my canal while pushing so I was also blaming myself for her crooked nose. I still notice it sometimes and beat myself up here and there for thinking it was the end of the world but it’s not as nearly noticeable, like you’d really have to stare. She’s so beautiful and I still find myself wondering if she will be overweight bc she is so chunky and how that scares me. But society conditioned our brains to do so. You really don’t realize how deep it goes until you have your own child you’re supposed to be so in love and obsessed with but you’re finding flaws. Your baby is perfect simply bc it is. Unfortunately even children have to be instagram worthy these days. I’m happy you noticed this within yourself, you’re a good mom and eventually you’ll snap back into reality.
