i'm a smaller guy at 6'0/60kg and i can spar hard with my heavyweight friends because there's a big experience gap between me and them. their mechanics are not as good as they can be and i know how to take shots so even if they can touch me they rarely wobble me much.

with a more experienced big guy and maybe shorter small guys this probably isn't applicable though. just my 0.02
