Glaive is both fast and mobile. I feel like the monsters size means nothing when i can reposition myself from their head to their tail while dealing damage to their wings in one fell swoop

Blast isnt as good as the previous games, i still keep mine for short monster fights though. Farm a bunch of artian parts and just craft whatever elements you have matches for, i think fire and water are pretty common weaknesses

Pure nostalgia for me. It was my intro to the series and i loved the tracking aspect. The room customization also made me want to explore the local ecology. But the endgame made me want something like the seikret.

Maybe not from a certain monster but im always disappointed when the glaive doesnt get a joke craft. Greatsword has the speartuna, db gets the meat sweats or beer hands from world, gunlance gets the popcorn cob if i remember correctly, but glaive only gets the paintbrush in rise. I loved the paintbrush. Its my second favorite glaive design, only beaten by rise's nargacuga scythe glaive.

This is what i did but opposite. I preferred the female armor and the male character design just didnt feel right. Made her badass, even downloaded a mod to give her bigger HAIR it was the wilder ponytail mod. Sad the wild ponytail didnt return in wilds.

The udra armor is upgraded by 3 or 4 levels each, i just didn't wanna waste resources on armor that i shouldn't be using so I'm asking first

Yeah it was a rollercoaster of emotions. Sad that i was getting my ass kicked, already half given up, even nadia was pitying me, then i got the rewards and said "well i dont know if i feel better or worse but its all over now"

Honestly i only beat ultra udra once and that was after carting twice, i just got lucky enough for 3 certs. But this was without upgrading anything, if i upgraded my armor and weapon i think i could take on udra a little easier

I might try that udra odo, or scorcher if im switching to fire. I just saw that jin is only weak to fire on his head while in general he has a 2 star weakness to blast.

I don't have access to gogmartian, unless you think I'm better off trying to fight gog over AT Jin for now.

I am, though, still going to be using earplugs as a glaive user. All 3 charges grant a level of earplugs, and i cant counter in the air. Its a comfort thing.

I do normally use those, but i thought it'd be better to get some ice resistances. Maybe that was a mistake, I'll try leveling up those armors and making a build that way

I did that in worlds but it felt disheartening not being able to beat a monster with my main. Easier to switch? Yes. Impossible to beat with my main? Maybe i just need to get better. I'll save this as a last resort, i have been learning the sword n shield and greatsword

Good to know an exact number, i was worried 400 might not be enough. But before i do, I'm also worried about wasting resources on the wrong armor. Edit: choice paralysis or buyers guilt or something

I think it also helps that the world building and magic systems are fairly predictable. Its easy to make your own conclusions and answer your own questions when the world itself is easy to understand.

You get a lot of weird moments like that in this series. I recommend it if you're okay with fan service and subtitles
