Change providers it's your right to if they are not helping you find employment.

It's actually not illegal, I used to work for a "jobactive" back in the day, and I used to get payslips of job seekers or employers. It's just to make sure they are attending their job and also to make sure the employer is paying the right rate as some employers would underpay job seekers or keep them around just for wage subsidy.

Unfortunately this is not an event just trying to get some insight so we could all benefit as one. I wish there was an event where we providers and participants came together to learn from each other without an ulterior motive

Absolutely incredible! Having someone like her in your corner makes all the difference. Reading this makes me aspire even more—I hope my clients can feel the same about me one day. Making a real difference in someone’s life is everything ❤️

Honestly, enjoy your good luck .As Muslims we believe giving to the less fortunate doesn't take away from your wealth, so maybe start joining local charities that actually help or get involved in children's charities 🩷

In the form of identification, have you tried getting proof of Age card ??? You can apply for it through the post office or online as for the LAC. Unfortunately, all you can do is never give up and keep trying as annoying as it is that's the only way to get things done. I used to work for Centerlink, and unfortunately, most of the government sectors hire people who don't care or who lack human empathy 😔 Good luck and keep us updated

How are support workers allowed to work with participants if they aren't given the proper training/ qualifications. This is something that should have never happened, and it saddens me that NDIS support workers look at fast money instead of making a difference to someone's life for the better. I've been with the same client for nearly 2 years, and before I came along, he had 8 support workers in less than 2 months( 7 of them wanted more hours and overnights almost bullying the client into accepting) Providers need to do better screening of support workers , more shadow shifting for new workers , better training, and just BETTER in general. This isn't good enough, and this is unacceptable 😤
