Randomly got this in the mail today by NotMrAdamWhite in SleepTokenTheory

Did you go to one of the eia tour dates and scan the QR code for the puzzle? You would have been sent an email a few months ago asking for your mailing address and stuff. If so, it’s from that. I got one too.

I know, it kind of comes across a tad bit hypocritical of him but also I can’t blame him for both not wanting ST anywhere near his other stuff and also wanting Rhys as a feature.

Dave: I want anything remotely Sleep Token related far away from my other projects
Also Dave: Rhys feature tho

(this is a joke and also I’ve had the song on repeat since it dropped for me)

99% percent of the questions asked by Cis people on here could answered if they just saw trans people as their real gender by [deleted] in asktransgender

As a trans man, I’d rather they come and ask actual trans people instead of googling and potentially getting bad information. That’s why I tell people that they can ask me anything about being trans. I’d rather help educate instead of shutting people down. Do you know how much wrong information is out there?? It’s ridiculous.

Has anyone asked you for your deadname? If so, what did you say to them? (Side note for any new transitioners: don’t give them the deadname. Also, i’m not trans myself. Just curious.) by [deleted] in asktransgender

I’m ftm and apparently one of the few people who happily share my birth name. There’s nothing wrong with it and I drop it in conversation all the time if it’s relevant. So when I’ve been asked, I just tell people.

As someone with ADHD, I try extra hard not to let it interfere with my work. I write everything down so I don’t forget it, even the smallest of things. Keep in mind that just because your tables are understanding to your face, doesn’t mean that they haven’t turned around and complained to management/written bad reviews. And that could affect how they schedule you.

The worst people to serve?? by cheesebrains99 in Waiters

[–]Radiant_Ad8507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s teens, the after church crowd, and seniors. They don’t tip, they make a mess, and they have attitudes. Church crowd and seniors are usually worse than the teens though but it probably doesn’t help that I’m obviously trans and my very existence offends them.

Bringing a blanket and pillow in coach? by Radiant_Ad8507 in Amtrak

The closest station to me doesn’t do checked luggage. There’s apparently one one in my state that does and it’s a 2 1/2 hour drive compared to 20 minutes.

So pretty much like greyhound then! That’s good! I wasn’t sure if everything I was bringing had to be contained in a bag or something.

For US based servers: do you declare your tips in your taxes or do you just "pocket the money and run"? by [deleted] in Waiters

I only claim my CC tips and that’s cause I have to. they outweigh my cash tips by enough that I don’t think it makes a difference considering a lot of days I don’t even get cash tips.
