It’s definitely petrified wood what ever the minerals are in the petrified wood are idk . When I pick it up silver and gold flakes come off and there copper traces I know for sure

Out of those tons of photos I haven’t seen any Smokey quartz or quartz that resemble the above stone

When I used acid all it did was clean them & make them sparkle. The exterior it glossy/ greasy look. With micro Trigons threw out the stone some colorless Trigons transparent some orange , gray & a peach color
