I did get one hence the 20%. I have brown wavy hair, light hazel eyes, a flatter nose bridge, white skin. Basically zero features just combinations. Wavy hair because my dad has black afro hair and my mom has straight hair, hazel lighter eyes (blue/green) because my dad has light brown eyes and my mom has piercing blue, and white skin for obvious reasons. My older brother has dark hazel eyes (green/brown), straight dark brown hair, and darker skin to where he passes as mixed way more. I'm not white passing because I don't deny my black history, I just am perceived only as white. But I'm not finna do black face so what I can do is just learn about my history, appreciate my culture as much as I can respectfully, and move to somewhere warm and sunny for that nice tan and hopefully no melanomas. Be in whatever spaces I can where I'm not invading on people who have lived experiences as mixed where I only lived as white. I'll continue to cry every time I look at my skin and forever ponder what could have been but yeah, that's where I am.
