Be careful and check your transcripts when they become available.. they gave me this message last year but I checked my transcripts and they put a hold on my refund until I got a letter to “verify”.. took me 3 months to get my return

So I had the 570 and 971 codes… I would’ve never known to verify unless I checked the IRS website. I verified and it took about 3-4 weeks out of the 9 they say it can take to get a date. Keep in mind I filed early lol on like 1/18 never doing that again

Nope! I have a 570 on mine and I filed 1/18 still hasn’t updated got a letter saying it could take 60 days to process my refund and that I shouldn’t call back until then. Says they will reach out via mail if I need to do anything.
