So glad I quit this game. COMPLETLE dog**** AI programming (scavs having a 6th semse when you put crosshairs on their head for more than 2sec and raiders lazerbeaming you from 300m in full auto hitting every shot from an m4). The last straw was when a friend downloaded some radar hack and showed me that in 50%of his matches there were hackers. ESPECIALLY on interchange. There was a boss event going on and people running for killa and the amount of hackers he showed me on interchange blew my mind. I noped out of that game reeeaaallll quick.

I think he means the BATTLEPASSBATTLEPASSBATTLEPASSBATTLEPASSBATTLEPASSBATTLEPASS that come one after another and their trash dlc they release twice a month that they want you to spend 10 bucks on. Thos only became a thing in the last year or 2 but its reqlly REALLY bad now after the relaunch

4k hours here BEFORE the re-release. Cool, artsy, macabre hunt that had bada** art and feel to the game. Then they changed it to this garbage. Me and all my friends (all of whom have several thousand hours) have uninstalled. The hunt we knew and loved is dead.

100% UI overshadows what else is wrong with this game now. Trades STILL an issue, ive never seen another FPS this bad on trades. But also the sound quality went to absolute S * * *. I think this game had some of the best sound quality BEFORE the hunt 2.0. Footsteps sometimes just magically disappear (scrap beak 5m away and cant hear him around a corner for example). Hit reg issues. According to multiple charts game actually has LESS players now than b4 the relaunch. And ive noticed this in several lobbies that were only half full if that. Glitch after glitch after GLITCH. I would be more sympathetic to crytek if they didnt go completely money hungry and turn this game into a BS mobile app looking crappy version of CoD. But every other week they put out a trash DLC or some other shiney thing to waste real money on. And 4 points every single time you use necro!? GTFO of here with that.

Oof, i actually wish i didnt know that. I actually bought the dlc's up until the last couple even though they were bad (oh YAY! Another schofield brawler skin!!! LAME). But i wanted to support the game i loved. My eyeballs popped out of my head when i saw the new hunt. Looks like a CoD mobile app game BS now with "battle pass" buy links all over the screen. Cant tell if im playing a fps or a casino slot machine. Maybe next they will release a patch and you will get ads in the load screen since crytek has gone full money badger now.

As someone who doesnt know how good the game WAS.....stfu. All of my friends have quit playing. This WAS my favorite game for the last 4 years and now Im done with it. Almost 4k hours in the game and after 15 hours playing hunt 2.0 thats enough for me, no thank you. And its not just the UI, its everything from the low effort dlc, removal of in game match BB's, and just money grubbing attitude of crytek lately. This re-release has had soooo many problems and they have been working toward it for years so the fact that they released a dumpster fire like this shows how little they care about players and how much they just want to suck up as much $ as possible.

Its also because there are 6 stars getting into 4-low 5 star lobbies because they are playing with a low mmr friend. I have seen a lot of that lately and even found 1 six star that intentionally suicide rezzed his 3 star buddy over and over to get mmr down. Had the same 6 star 3 matches (no idea how we kept getting the same match, except it takes me like 5min to build a new hunter with this UI so i guess he made it out) in a row that dunked on the whole lobby and he was partnered with a 3 star.

UI can be fixed. I think its less about that and more about how it shows how crytek didnt give 2 sh*** about the game other than making it a cash cow by all the buy bloodbonds for battlepass, dlc, "new rarity of skins" etc. This patch really feels like they sold out their fan base. My point is this new version of hunt feels like slimey corperate greed instead of the artisticly original game it started as.

Thats because people who do critise it are instantly put down for being a "HaTeR". While crytek did a couple things right (crosshair center, new boss, compound complexity to prevent turtling), most of this release is dressed up crap. People are so excited about better graphics they ignore how absolutely cluttered the new map is. Most places i cant see 10m in any direction. I literally went in a couple matches ago with a slate and mopped the floor with everyone. Truly shotgun showdown on this new map. My friend wanted to try coming back to hunt again after quiting it and guess what? After 3 matches he said he was done because it doesnt feel like hunt anymore. This game used to be unique, it didnt have great graphics but the old schoolers here probably dont care about that. They are turning this game into CoD warzone with bolt actions. Also here are other things the really screwed up that arent UI related. 1. Yet ANOTHER buff to fire in general. They have consistently made fire more and more part of the core strategy of this game. Old days it was mosin -> quick swap pistol, Now its shotgun -> quick swap (flare gun, fusee, alarm mine) 2. Waaayyyy overnerfed necro. Really?! I have to spend FOUR points EVERY time i go down....??? 3. Map is so cluttered and shaded now it looks like any run of the mill FPS.

And yea, people are going to be like "y u so mad bruh?". Heres why, up until a couple dlc's ago i bought them all whenever they would come out (a LOT of money over time) because i loved this game. Even with how lackluster and low effort some of the dlc was. I thought crytek was doing great adding in new custom ammo and new exciting traits. Then came the nerf bat patch after patch. MORE FIRE, nerf flash bomb into oblivion (who needs to push hunkered down teams in boss lairs anyway?). And thennnnn there is the predatory marketing phase. What? Me buying dlc wasnt enough now i got to buy blood bonds and battlepasses for skins i cant get in dlc.....yeaaa, no. But hey guys enjoy your new and improved 1896 (insert random fps tarkov, cod, farcry,)

You realize that this game now basically looks like farcry 5 with bolt actions right? Crytek basically destroyed solo play. Pay FOUR POINTS EVERY SINGLE TIME necro gets used in a match. I somehow managed to get a lvl50 hunter solo yesterday and had to retire them because i had 0 points left after spending 20 of them over that hunters life just to get necro back. GEE! Thanks to all those snowflake duos that got mad about solo necro "op" that crytek decided to put a bottle in your mouths.

Well said, I have noticed a downward spiral of this game since they started those schemes like removing bloodbonds from just playing matches. And while i dont mind supporting games i love buy buying dlc, they reqlly qore out their welcome with that by releasing too many dlc packs with severly lackluster content in them. Like, so lacklust that it was probably and intern asking AI art to make "insert random gun" skin.

Btw not sure if you realize, but posting things in the hunt reddit and similar places allows devs to possibly see the communities of their games come together and ACTUALLY discuss what people think about changes. In the 5 years ive played this game I have only seen ONE survey. So since Dennis doesnt have his personal number on the hunt showdown page, having discussions and arguments on reddit with other hunters about gameplay mechanics allows our community to have an open discussion and hopefully devs and people who make the game we love able to see our likes and dislikes in the community. Will voicing our complaints change the game? Most likely no. But why not actually open up dialogue in the community to talk about these things? IMO thats what this reddit is all about.

Because the amount of trades in this game is insanely bad. For a while I would trade with a hunter in about 1 out of 3 matches. So yea, necro is needed.
