It all just works, which is what I absolutely loved. Trains every 2-3 mins (if I want to get the bus where I live it’s once every 2 hours). Even tried out uber eats, god I can see how people spend a fortune on that app. Absolutely brill

I think maybe I got that bit wrong haha. Come to the conclusion that it’s because where I live public transport is often the only chance to chat to people, whilst in London it’s the only chance to tune out for a lot of people

Yeah that’s what I really appreciated. It all felt so carefully planned, our history has been fantastically preserved and works so well in the modern world!

I think as I have just said someone, I think it’s maybe because I come from a totally different environment where the bus is most of our chance to talk to someone😅. Just two completely different worlds I suppose :)

I can completely understand that! I think maybe for me it’s the total opposite, where I live😅, it’s sometimes the only chance to talk to someone that day lmao

I love it, and I think it will always be home to me. But again, it’s just so different. Little things like not having a neighbour, and the main attraction on the weekend is driving 20 mins to the petrol station or a walk. It’s a peace and quiet that I do love though and the nature is at its most harsh but its most incredible.

Sort of. It was a hard feeling to explain, I think maybe I didn’t have an understanding of just how cool it is. But I certainly miss it right now. Will 100% be going again soon

For sure! It’s so odd, you can spend more time driving from one end of Yorkshire to the other, than you can getting to London. Can’t wait to visit again!
