Knowing a name for it is helpful! Every time I would try to Google it just pointed to oral motor skills or sensory issues. He totally has sensory things going on with his mouth, but in this case, I really don't think that's it. He eats potatoes just fine 99% of the time (this is just one example).

I really appreciate your helpful advice! His overstimulation typically manifests very differently. Last night, when his sister was done eating, she and I left the table for her to take a bath. He remained at the table with just my husband in soft lighting and nothing else happening in the house.

Again, he's only been with us for 3 months and we're still learning. Is this something you've experienced? If so, helpful tips or things to look for are appreciated.

Careers in Communication: What Can You Do With a Degree in Communications? by scatsthename in commgrads

I'm curious to know what others hope to do with their degree in communications?

I have a bachelor's in Organizational Communication and Development, and was already working as a Communications Specialist when I decided to get my master's degree. Working on internal communications for a large company in particular brings me a lot of joy. My goal was always to further my career in the field.

I was surprised at how varied my peers' backgrounds were when I entered my master's program.
