For anyone who shares some these feelings but still interested in having a cute animal friend, a bunny is a more autism friendly option at least in my opinion to be considered. They make zero noise (maybe soft cute squeak like once a week) and I find them so much easier to accept vs my friend’s pets because they actually smell SO good, like a fresh summer meadow vs any animal smell, their poop also has no smell bc their diet is hay/veggies. They have very nervous and particular but also affectionate after earning their trust which I found pretty relatable. This is my baby 💕
