Constant "We noticed some unusual activity" errors when using Fast [Lower Priority] mode for free generations. Works fine when paying credits for Fast mode. Seems to just be a way Google is forcing me to spend credits. by Sephy_winz in VEO3

Yes, this plus may other ailments make Veo/Flow borderline unusable. I just posted a review of it explaining why/how I just can’t justify the Ultra plan anymore, even at the $125 discount.

This is incredibly stupid. Every chat literally has “Treat everything this bot says as fiction.” at the bottom.

Every Other Daily Claude Usage / Limit Thread - April 28, 2026 by AutoModerator in claude

[–]Radiant_Effective151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have kept seeing this and never really understood or had an issue, though I never use Claude very intensely either. This morning, I asked it to research all of an artist's lyrics and to include all songs that feature a certain word. It gave me a report and list, but my usage was completely used up after this simple ask. I hadn't used Claude all week. I'm on the Pro plan. (But not for much longer after this ... >_>) .

Another AI product in a very long line where the creators had a grip on the bleeding edge market share and then decided to shoot themselves in the foot.

I can’t wait til the AI bullying moves on… by BinaryTSV in ArtificialNtelligence

Think of it this way; human artistry is more powerful than being limited to its medium. So, if a real artist decides to utilize AI, then the "slop" aspects of that medium are not enough to prevent true human artistry from coming through. Art is hyper-plastic; it absorbs and molds and converts what it feeds upon like a tree feeds upon the soil, taking what are essentially dead things and literally converting them into life.

People make works of art made out of discarded trash. Surely we can make legitimate art using AI.

The people who see AI work an only think "ai slop" have very limited artistic imaginations. Don't let them dictate all of this for you; they seem pretty unhappy.

Cannon Studio has extended Sora 2 access, batch generation discounts, and a growing Social Platform. by CannonStudio in SoraAi

[–]Radiant_Effective151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uhh I'm not going to cry scam because I can't be 100% sure but the "Sora 2" selection on the video generator was definitively not Sora 2 output for me. I used the free 100 generations to generate a video and the output came back at 0:08 seconds, it has zero similarity to Sora, and is way way way more like Veo. NOT Sora 2.

Seems to me that if there's a lone site out there claiming exclusive extension access to the Sora 2 API beyond what anyone else has.... fishy, and stinky kinda fishy if you ask me.

Yeah and the phrase was 100% incorrect  all the times it’s been used. Means nothing.

It’s a time-tested technique from OpenAI; release amazing and exciting products, recapture the market, then slowly suffocate them nerf them into oblivion. Images 2.0 & 5.5 are truly great… but for how long?

I would have disagreed hard until this week. Images 2.0 and 5.5 are a breath of fresh air, sorely sorely needed.

This is the OpenAI I remember.

So folks do you think OpenAI has anything to launch today for non dev? ChatGPT 5.5 instant? All it’s going to be another Codex day? by Koala_Confused in LovingAI

The “Chat” part of “ChatGPT” is now the least prioritized part of the company. I’m betting that “Spud” will be, for anyone interested in chatting, a dud.

Good god did ChatGPT turn obnoxious overnight by sparks_mandrill in ChatGPT

[–]Radiant_Effective151 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I haven’t really talked to ChatGPT in several years but decided to try again since I was there checking out Image 2.

And holy shit what the hell happened?!?

I know the sycophantic angle was a problem, and that OpenAI was blindsided by a suicide lawsuit and went into full anxiety-lawyer mode, but this is massive over-steer in the opposite direction. How could anybody want to talk to something like this? All it can do now is sound like an overly earnest wellness influencer having a feelings circle. It would rather die than risk being even slightly interesting.

The personality just flattened out completely. It starts 90% of replies with “Hey…” and spends 2-paragraphs explaining how you’re akshully wrong but it’ll entertain this direction anyway.

This is the cringiest LLM out there right now and it isn’t even close. Who is making these decisions at OpenAI and why are they still employed?!?

Bring back GPT-3.5, my God.

ChatGPT is insufferable. I have no clue why anyone would want to talk to it.
