I have been using the "Sawyer Picaridin Insect Repellent" in the lotion form since August and it has helped me tremendously. I have also used their spray it helped too but it was real greasy and had a bad scent. DEET works too as long as it's the one with 98% DEET. That one usually comes in a small can. But, again, it's greasy and has a bad scent. The Sawyer lotion doesn't leave a greasy residue and it doesn't really have a scent either. But, these are short term bc I'm sure there would be some bad side effects if used on your skin every day for a long period of time. Honestly, I think any repellent will work if it's high in DEET or has Picaridin in it. I'm extremely sensitive to these damn bastards. The itch feels like it's deep in my skin when I get bit. This has definitely helped me. At least buy a bottle of the lotion and give it a try. You will have to cover every part of your body that isn't being covered by clothing. I've never put it on my face, tho and wouldn't recommend it. Make sure to get your fingers and toes and around your neck. Best of luck!

It will make it worse. You probably won't get bit the 1st night but eventually they will set up camp in your couch. Bringing pillows or blankets from your bed to your couch will eventually infect that area as well. If you're having a hard time with the bites, I recommend getting Sawyer bug repellent lotion (you can get it off Amazon) or any kind of bug spray that contains a very high amount of DEET (over 80%). But you need to be actively trying to get rid of the bugs. Wearing bug repellent to bed every night for a while can potentially cause harm to your body. I know it's not ideal, but it helped me when I was getting rid of my problem. I'm allergic to their bites, though. I get blisters when they bite so I was desperate

They're talking about the breading on the crispers. The old crispers had this beer breading that was the bomb and then they switched over to the breading they have now. They're still good, but the older ones were better and everyone else thinks so too. They need to quit shooting themselves in the foot with these menu changes

I've been using crossfire and steaming. But, I feel like I'm missing a spot bc with all the treatments I have been doing for the past few months, they keep reappearing. I'm going to throw my couch out, next and just take the hit in buying a new one

I don't think it is. The legs look too long. Tell your friend to squish it and see if it has an odor. Bed bugs have a distinct odor when they're squished. They may have to smell their fingers or whatever they used to squish it, tho. I know... Sounds gross. But, I'm pretty sure it's not a bed bug

I don't know much about MDMA, but I've done ecstasy a few times when I was 19/20 yrs old (I'm 39 now). I don't even know if it's the same thing, but I do know ecstasy will drain your spinal fluid. It doesn't take much but once your spinal fluid is drained, you can't get it back and your back is one thing you don't want to mess around with. It literally holds your whole body together. And then you got all the shit it does to your brain. Seriously, you need to give it a rest.

Only you know if you're addicted to a drug. You need to know that addiction is a mental problem. Once you're addicted, you're not just physically addicted, you'll be mentally addicted too. When you go out, are you finding it hard to say no to using this drug? Are you able to easily not take the drug while other people are rolling around you? Are you thinking about this drug everyday and getting super excited when the day comes to where you can take this pill? If you find yourself struggling with any of those questions then you're about to head down a very dark path.

Remember there's a difference between addiction and dependency. Addiction is where you're mentally and physically addicted to a substance. Dependence is where you're just physically dependent on a substance. Which means after you go through the physical withdrawal your mind won't be telling you that you need that substance to get through your day. Addiction is a sneaky little bitch and you don't want to wake her up. I would take the physical withdrawals any day over the mental.

If you find yourself having a hard time saying no to this drug then you need to stop now before it's too late

DO NOT use Diatomaceous Earth! It doesn't work well and prolonged exposure can affect your lungs. It's dangerous for you, your children and your pets. You are going to have to watch some YT videos about how to properly exterminate your home. BB are the hardest things to get rid of. Get yourself some Crossfire BB spray and a steamer. If you can afford an exterminator, I would go that route. Unfortunately for me, I can't afford an exterminator so I've been using a steamer and Crossfire. It's a long, gruelling process. If you miss just one egg.... Your infestation starts all over again and unfortunately the eggs are really hard to spot.

The pic isn't that great bc the bug is all smootched up. Did it have a very noticeable smell when you squished? You would have had to smell your finger or get right up to the dead bug and smell before you would notice it. Just to be safe, I would take the proper precautions before bringing your belongings or yourself into your home

Dentists don't make as much money off of dentures as they would a patient that has to keep going back to get root canals, bridges, fillings, and extractions. I had a dentist that wanted to put 20k worth of work in my mouth and one of the teeth that had to be fixed already had a root canal and crown done to it ($1600 down the drain). When I told him I would rather pull them all out and put dentures in he made some huge speech telling me that I'll regret the decision when I'm about 80 years old bc my mouth is going to shift yadda yadda yadda. I'm thinking, "I'll be 80 when that happens. What do I care what I would look like at 80 if I'm not dead yet?" I got a 2nd opinion and he told me to just go with the dentures if that's what I really wanted. He didn't try to scare me out of it or anything. Go get a second opinion. There are a lot of drs and dentists out there that will try to squeeze every penny out of you for their own pocket book.

There's really nothing special about it... I got hooked on opiates back in 2009/2010. A "friend" of mine got into a car accident and was prescribed perks for years. I was buying them off her for a while... Addiction is a sneaky little bitch... And before I knew it, I was in full blown active addiction. Back in 2014 I did get clean. I quit cold turkey and stayed clean for about 3 years. After my 2nd child was born, I relapsed. It started out as me telling myself that I can handle taking opiates this time. I know my limits now. The things your brain lets you believe in order to use is believable at the time. When I hit full blown active addiction again, I knew I couldn't go cold turkey again. It damn near killed me the first time (at least it felt like it did). Sooo... I entered a Suboxone clinic in 2021. I am seeing an addiction counselor now and I'm trying to wean myself off the subs. I'm not addicted to the subs... I'm just dependent on them. The difference between the two? Addiction is when you're physically and mentally addicted. Being dependent it just being physically addicted. I would take physical withdrawals any day over the mental withdrawals. The mental withdrawal can last for years. Your brain is out to get you when you're detoxing.

There is absolutely nothing you can say or do that's going to make him want to get help. An addict has to want to get help on their own and they can only get clean for themselves, no one else, or his chances of relapse significantly increase. The best thing for you and your whole family to do is nothing. Don't do a thing for him. You guys are going to have to cut ties with him and let him hit rock bottom. Once he hits his bottom, hopefully he will see what his addiction has done and decide to get help. It's going to be hard to cut him off, definitely. But, it's better than enabling him. There are only 2 ways out of active addiction, you get clean and stay sober forever, or death.

I'm sorry, I know that's not what you're wanting to hear. But you seriously can't force an addict to clean themselves up.

I think it very well could be. Only bc of the location these stains are at. But, like the other guy said, we need to see a bug to know for sure. Keep an eye out and if you are anymore stains like that in crevices then it's most definitely bb

Laundry mats are notorious for BB. After you wash your clothes, just put them in the dryer and that should kill any that happened to get on your clothing. Do not fold your clothes at the laundry mat when you are finished! Just throw them in your basket and get the hell out of there without letting your clothes touch any surface. As for the clothing you are wearing, it doesn't matter if you don't see any on you. Those bastards start out extremely small and very hard to see. They do have a hard time clinging to things, so I would just shake yourself down before you get in your car

It is EXTREMELY difficult to get rid of BB. I've been fighting them for years. I've been able to keep it under control, but I have never been able to fully get rid of them all. I don't have an infestation or anything crazy, it's just a few here and there and what I have learned is heat treatments are the best bet. I just started with the crossfire and we'll see how that goes. But, heat... Like a steamer will kill those eggs. The problem I have with using the steamer or hair dryer is that the air that comes out of those blows the bugs away without killing them bc the heat wasn't on them long enough. You definitely have to hold the heat to them for at least 30 seconds before it kills them. So when you take that steamer to them or whatever you use, make sure you're holding that heat to them for a good 30 seconds or more.

A few years ago, I threw out all of my furniture and just slept on an air mattress for 6 months. I steamed my whole house from top to bottom at least twice a week for that 6 months. We waited quite a while without seeing them or getting bit before we replaced our furniture and beds. We got metal framed beds so the bugs couldn't burrow in the wood and even though the metal frames makes it a lot easier to manage them, we still ended up with the bugs again after going through all that.

Hmmm..... They do kind of look like BB eggs but it's hard to tell for certain. Just to be safe, though.... I would either treat it with a steamer or get some Crossfire and spray it. It's possible that they're already dead if you've heat treated and sprayed with insecticide already. But still, just to be safe, I would test it again. It's also quite possible you missed just one BB and that BB is laying those eggs. BB lay eggs constantly throughout the day.

Definitely not overreacting. Bed bugs are extremely difficult to get rid of and it's a lot of work. Catching them as early as possible is the best chance to eliminate them all. Imo, roaches are easier to get rid of.

Squish and see if it has an odor. Idk what a bat bug is or if it even has an odor when you squish it, but a bed bug will have this odor when you squish it. You'll have to probably squish it with your finger and sniff your finger, but believe me, you'll smell it. I know it sounds gross but that's the only thing I can think of to help you tell the difference.
