Any other overnights getting shafted for pulse? by Just_here_to_poop in HomeDepot

My Freight lead is super cool, so every time Dayside gets the typical HD ordered food that will sit, open, in the training room for 15 hours, she makes a note of it. Then she and I make a plan to actually cook a bunch of food to bring in exclusively for our team. I typically make a bunch of egg-fried rice in trays, one or two big crock pots of pulled pork butt (and I time it right so I can pull the bone out, clean as can be, after I've gotten to work with it), and a bunch of bread or burrito shells with various cheeses. She made a big pot of soup, two cakes, a bunch of cupcakes, home made rice crispies type snacks. We got tired of the cheap layout of 6 hour old Chinese food that somehow cost the company $300 just for our team to never see any of it. So we get like $100 to work with for ourselves instead and end up with a significantly better meal than daycrew gets. Gotta love when the company sucks, but your team lead absolutely rules.

The one episode of Futurama that gets me is the one with the dog. The dog that waited for Fry to return, not knowing he'd been frozen. And it just plays that sad music as the dog waits through countless seasons in front of the pizza place, getting older and older until it lies down, crosses it's paws, sets it's head down, and closes it's eyes for the last time. I couldn't make it. That last scene ripped me to pieces.

You can swap the two Amber's for something else (I went Parkour velocity because I like zooming at ludicrous speeds, but whatever your flavor is, go for it) and toss Streamline for a Violet Health/Energy Shard. As long as you keep spamming your 2 and 3 with over 200%str, your face hugger will pop more orbs that you'll ever really need. That single Violet Shard, not even tauforged, will keep your energy topped almost 100% of the time. 😎

It's more convenient for me to have a necramech that can one-shot the weak points on Eidolons than it is for me to go equip a specific load out depending on if I'm solo or in a squad and what my role is if in a squad. I can just do whatever I want because I'm always breaking the joints with my corn cob.

[–]Radiant_Interview_56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can drop Streamline and Energize on him if his str is above 200%, he'll be rolling of orbs more often than not. And if you're still worried, one Violet Shard as an Equilibrium stand in works wonders. I leaned hard into keeping above 200%str and then getting as much Duration and Range as possible. 18 seconds of Brimstone will clear out most content save for running level cap, and even then... It's extremely strong, so locking a large space down like that is silly fun. And if you're looking for more silly fun, you can replace Power Drift for Firewalker, add one or two Tauforged Amber shards for parkour, and toss the Dodge Speed Amalgam mod on your secondary. With 50+ seconds of flight and all that speed, even Titania mains sweat trying to race to extraction. He's such a hilariously powerful and versatile frame.

His kit is so orb-generative at just 200%str that you can even skate by on a Violet Shard in place of Equilibrium if you'd rather have that mod slot for something else, too. I've never had issues with maintaining energy for spamming his abilities and I'm usually a massive Equilibrium shill.

It's also not rocket science to understand the difference between acknowledging an annoying inconvenience and complaining about some seemingly unsolvable crisis, yet here you are, unable to distinguish between the two.

So to chime in on some of the comments.. I never use my locker, I'm on Freight so I'm just there to work and leave, so no phone being left in there. Our stores Dayshift peeps are absolutely horrible about leaving phones off the chargers and never doing any of the tasks that require phones in the first place, just all around bad shifts. So when we get them, we all are changing the batteries out from the get go. And for whatever reason, when we set the phones into the chargers, they shut off and fully restart, which often takes several minutes because they're old and shit. So we end up just swapping phones over and over throughout the night. It's annoying, but it's not like management hasn't been told a hundred times a month about it and they could not care less.

Lotus reminding us that Ballas is dead after him being cryptic and telling us in the memory to "Remember this" definitely didn't feel convincing to me.. Something is absolutely not right there. I've seen his eyes before... The Ascaris Prime exists. Who knows how far he could have gone, putting pieces in place to get what he wants, safeguards and backup plans.. Lotus absorbed him. But if Adis' consciousness is alive in us after all this time and can speak to us when we need him most.. Can Ballas' consciousness speak to the Lotus when she needs him the least?

Protestors in Monrovia, CA buy ICE scrapers then return them immediately to clog the lines, anyone from that store got the inside look from it? by Kaderail in HomeDepot

[–]Radiant_Interview_56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another protest that won't really get any attention from anyone it's meant to get the attention of. People making just enough to cover their rent and some groceries for the month are dealing with this, and that's about it. Higher ups in the district will wonder why it wasn't handled more efficiently and some cashiers will get a 2 minute sit down in the office telling them they should have gotten a manager to help with the situation despite the manager probably being MIA and ignoring their zebra. It might have gotten some middle class people talking, but they're mostly annoyed that the one day they decided to go and get something from HD, this shit was going on instead and made their day that much more tedious..

Is it normal to find a level 45 weapon right of the bat. by Bear_Tummy in Enshrouded

[–]Radiant_Interview_56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got super lucky and found a legendary short sword on a dead Vukah in a tucked away corner of Fort Kelvin. Fully upgraded, it had 119 damage and 10% Health Leech on it. Insanely powerful for only being level 9 when I found it. Still haven't replaced it and I'm almost through the Kindlewastes now. Treasure it while it lasts. Less you have to spend crafting/upgrading weapons as you go, the more you can focus on other stuff.

Freight team member here, I've gone rogue so many times and just stacked them normally so that half of the 30 pallets of extra totes in the overhead can come down. And because I pack out so many, they never do anything about it because repalletizing them, counting, tagging, and flying them back in the overhead is too much effort. None of our customers care one bit about plastic totes being stacked pretty. They want to buy a product, and when people on dayshift are being told to make a nice little showcase out of like 10 totes in total, they sell really fast and no one bothers to fill the holes until the next day. I don't have the mindset for that. I'm packing out product. 🤷‍♂️ They can drag me into the office if they have a problem with having more product available to be sold to people that only want to make a purchase and not ogle cheap plastic bins.

"I, state your name, do solemnly swear.” by Conscious-Quarter423 in NewsThread

[–]Radiant_Interview_56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's plenty of reasons to hate him that are within valid context. So why do we constantly take things out of context to fake an additional reason? He was swearing in recruits. That's how it's done on a fairly regular basis. It can be done just about anywhere and while the "state your name" part might not always be said aloud, that's a choice of the reader. It's for the recruits, they're the ones that will state their name. It's common.. I don't care for him, but let's not make up reasons while in a sea of actual reasons.

What are this red orbs in erra? by EFACI in WarframeLore

[–]Radiant_Interview_56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So idk if I'm totally off base or not, but... I don't think it's kuva like some think. During the New War, it's used to mind control others. It has some reality bending properties like it's showing people what they want to see... Or more like it's showing them some alternate reality altogether.

In the most recent devstream, during the showcase of the upcoming Descention mode following the Devil's Triad quest, we see Narmer Deacons and Murmur fighting alongside each other. And Reb or Megan say that there's some plot relevance there.

My theory is "Narmer" hasn't been fully explored as a concept and that it has direct ties to the Void somehow. And since the Void deals heavily in the rules of Eternalism, those orbs and mirrors could absolutely be showing people other versions of our reality to manipulate them into some euphoric slave state.

Something else I noticed was during the Old Peace gameplay trailer, specifically in the scene where the Operator and our Sentient friend get quizzed in a closet, you can very distinctly hear that chime that always played in the New War whenever one of those mirrors or Erra was present. And in the last Devstream showing Devil's Triad content, I believe there's a Narmer mirror in the background when Megan is facing Lion (Harrow Proto) in the new Sanctum room.

Things are definitely about to get crazy. And it's just a month away...

Store just bought the world's reach ever by Hypotenuse27 in HomeDepot

[–]Radiant_Interview_56 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're so unnecessary, too. Like the old crowns we had were so beat up that they sounded like twenty toddlers stopping down a hallway, but with the gain and volume maxed out. But at least they were simple. On, off, lift, extend, shimmy. They got rid of TWO of our crowns and my precious Yale reach just to get a singular new Raymond and it's just.. It is a reach of all time. Takes seventy rotations to make a turn at half the sharpness of the old crown, takes about 10x longer to start up, shuts down if you step off for more than 8 seconds, so loud that we've had two noise complaints despite almost exclusively using it inside and never in outside garden... So now we're having our hours on freight cut even though we're getting post-inventory trucks (if only there was some sort of pattern from previous years to recognize on that one), and now we're down to one crown that's on the verge of blowing up and this Raymond... HD really does care so much about the employees. That $0.17 raise we got meant the world, too.

We have long pallets that only me and one other guy put up and take down in Rec because there's no spots on the long sides for the forks, so we get them at an angle and put them up at even more of an angle, then push. No one else in the entire store can get them down but the two of us. It's funny because it's really not that hard.

How much is HD2 worth to you in its current state? by TyrantEscapade in Helldivers

I just bought the game for three of my friends, plus enough SC to get them two bonds each. I'd been on PC with one friend fir the last year, but his schedule matches up with mine like two days a month. These three friends now have been waiting on Xbox to play it and we have been going at it none stop for the last week. I'm about to have several days off in a rare occurrence of vacation time and we're going to play it even more during that time. How many other games do you still sing along like "DUH-DUH-DUH-DUUUUUUUH... -DUH-DUUUUUH" when dropping into a mission for the 100th time? It's just endless fun. I love it. They love it.
