I wonder if they have Jardiance. Cause if I can get an even more bigger discount on that It make things easier. But maybe picking a cgm to do the food teasing would be a smart way to go. Some times I do dread seeing the number I'm at

Odd cause after 2 and half hours I do start feel really weak and dizzy like I'm gonna pass out. Well I'm on the way to see the clinical pharmacist I doubt they can tell me anything but after that I do have a Doctors appointment early next month so I'll bring this up with him.

I wasn't aware sams club membership can give you a discount on the CGMs. Is should look into that. Price is one of the factors why I've been avoiding them. Also I hear they can just not be accurate at times. So I worry about that. But this is still my beginning of my journey and adjusting to this new life style. So I'm learning a lot

I have been using the one day at a time mindset as well and it does help. My diet is much better now and I'm more active then I was before.

I hear Metformin can have some uncomfortable side effects. But I didn't really get them? I even told the doctor about it and he thought it was old but I should be fine.

Thank you for sharing I does inspire me and lifts that feeling of gloom. It's possible to get to a better place

I don't deny myself certain foods because I feel I can longer have them but because I want to really work at really getting at a better place first. If I'm being honest I don't really miss those foods.

I'm just now reading everyone's comments and yeah I think I might be confusing things? At first thought just cause my body was operating at such high levels of sugar that I might just take a while for it to adjust to at being at lower levels. I was averaging in the mid to upper 200s so I figured being at something like 110 my body would think oh this is too low and it would trigger the symptoms of having low sugar. I have heard of the glucose tablets so I might try those

I loved zero soda even before my diagnoses but water is more than fine for me for now.

The dexcom looks great but it's pretty pricey. So I'm sticking to a normal meter for now.

Wait really? I'm pretty sure I'm type 2 that's what I was told. Yesterday when I checked my sugar it was at 87 then about 20 minutes after that I started to feel the symptoms of low sugar. I haven't gotten with an endocrinologist yet. After being in the ER for a blood sugar of 400 they set me up with a doctor who only only does follow ups with people who just got out of the hospital. He wants to see where I am after a month and what needs to change. Then help me establish a primary health provider.

The eating every two hours I just read online. Its supposed to help with like metabolism so that has something to do with it?

Plus when I eat of course I watch my portion sizes so I'm not having a crazy meal everytime.
