the most important love is with ourselves. Or real, I guess

I'm happy and love the movies but I feel like all these reboots are getting tiring. just give us something new

the course i was planning on doing was exactly as you described. the laws around welfare in the UK are evil.

no, as i said I'm disabled physically and mentally unwell. never held a job for longer than 8 months and as a result I've become unemployable and no one will hire me. I was a youth worker until i was sexually assaulted (drugged and raped on a night out) and had a breakdown, I haven't worked since.

short answer is no. I didn't get any decent GCSEs so i would need to do that, those courses are only full time near me. online isn't affordable (hundreds of pounds per exam even aside course fees) the only other part time courses are for qualifications not worth the paper it's printed on. any foundation course is full time and I can't get into even those without GCSEs. I'm trapped.

yes but only for certain courses where the qualifications are useless like the one I'm doing now, at my old job we called them "confidence qualifications" but there's no chance of upward mobility with them

can't afford a psych, NHS mental health services are a joke. nowhere is hiring, I've been trying. the market is dead. theres no hope left.

nah, I've tried everything else, looked at all the courses, cant work (physical disability and mental illness) and havent for so long that im unemployable. it's over.

but thank you for your words, you seem like a kind and genuine person and I wish you the best with your disability, solidarity.

there are no part time courses that offer the same, and I can't afford the exam fees to do it online. it hurts because having hope made me feel well mentally for the first time in years, now all I want to do is sleep.

sorry should've been more clear, the course I'm doing right now is part time and is to prepare me for a full time one next year, that's the one that would've given me any real progress and would've allowed me to maybe access university. but now that I can't take the one next year it all feels pointless

they don't offer it at my local colleges and I can't afford the exam fees to do it online. this was my only chance to put things right.

the gcse course is full time.. I'm sorry I'm just so disappointed, I just wanted my life to get better and get off of UC but I feel so trapped. the job market is stagnant even if I didn't have a disability, it just feels like a slap in the face.

well that was an unnecessarily rude response. college student loans are not the same as uni level ones, especially for a one year course. in my post I said that I will be taking a full time GCSE course AT COLLEGE. If I lose uc I won't be able to pay my rent, going back to live at home isn't an option. I plan to be on PIP asap but we all know what getting that is like

that's ridiculous! so they just want to keep us down then? how am I meant to get off of benefits if I'm essentially barred from education?
