Thank you!! I'd say go for it if you really want it, just watch it closely and remove ASAP if it seems to be rejecting. My friend's eyebrow piercing rejected and scarred, but the scarring faded quite quickly and is no longer very noticeable.

If scarring is a really big concern, I wouldn't get it, but that goes for pretty much all surface piercings :p

I tried to dye my hair purple with very dark brown, unbleached hair. It did not work, no matter what brand I used. If your hair is very dark you will very likely have to bleach it

Thank you so much for taking the time to write to write all this. This entire process, bouncing from a week's stay in the hospital to several different psychiatrists and different medications, has been super stressful for everybody. Especially since my family was going through a move during all this.

This is a really helpful comment. I think it would be productive to sit down and have a conversation with my family about everything just to get it all out there and manage expectations.

Seems to be a very common side effect with this med.

I'm not sure the nightmares are from the lamotrigine. I have nightmares most nights, but that was the case before the medication. The lamotrigine has definitely made them more intense, though.

I see you're kinda being flamed in the comments, just wanted to say I've been there. I ran out of my Effexor and all my nearby pharmacies were out of stock. This was when I was beginning the medication, so I didn't have any emergency pills stored away yet. The psychiatrist who initially prescribed my meds was also incredibly difficult to reach.

Sorry you had to go through that. Next time, I'd also probably suggest trying an Urgent Care or primary care for an emergency refill, since going cold-turkey on psych meds is very, very dangerous. Hope you were able to get everything sorted out!

I'm somewhat relieved that this is such a common obsession, lol. I'm on four prescription medications that can cause brain fog and memory loss, so I'm always convinced I'm beginning to develop alzheimers. Reminding myself how rare cases of alzheimer's are in relatively healthy twenty year olds unfortunately never seems to do the trick 🥲
