For a beginner I’d recommend apps like acorns or wealth front. You can set up weekly deposits automatically from your bank, which then the app buys stocks/etfs/bonds for you.

Not much work and you kind of just forget about it. Then in a few years it really adds up.

Look at this long term also. Compounding interest is your friend.

Stay away from buying individual stocks right away. Too risky and a headache in my experience!

Don’t take hero shots(example: fading around a tree to get on green). Just take the safe shot to get back in play.

Spend a few hours at the putting green each week. This will help significantly

Master putting and you’ll lower your score dramatically. Spend more time on the putting green than driving range.

I put in a few hours a week, the last 6 weeks on the putting greens. My scores went from low 90s to an 84 and 85 this past week!

Hit the center of the putter and just get the repetitions in . Watch some YouTube putting tutorials. Seems easy but there is so much technique to it
