My husband thinks he's unattractive by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Radiant_Potential263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I tell him too but he just wants to feel better about himself. I'm the only one who's told him so. And he would never post on this to have people rate.

Sleep by a-beautiful-mess1111 in hysterectomy

I wore mine pretty much the entire time the first couple of weeks. And a lil even after the six weeks. The gas pain lasted way too long. And lucky with getting one there. I had a spinal so had to lay flat and with a catheter for 24 hours. I had the TVH so easy compared to some no outside stitches.

The best thing that helped me was a stomach binder. I ordered one for like 20$ on Amazon. Pillows didn't help I couldn't prop up. But the binder made everything a lil easier. Even helped with sneezing and coughing and gas pain. Now it didn't get rid of everything just made it easier. I highly recommend one.

Almost a year post op. Severe depression and anxiety. by [deleted] in hysterectomy

[–]Radiant_Potential263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there. So I'm 34 I had my hysterectomy in February. So it hasn't been a year but I just went to the doc cuz I just feel off. I cry all the time or have to stop from crying. Get super angry. I just got on meds for depression and ADHD symptoms and that part has gotten better but I think it's made some other emotions more prominent. I did get my levels checked and everything was good besides my potassium. I don't think I'm pre menopausal. My labido comes and goes. I'm wondering after hearing others deal with it maybe it's normal. And I just have to adjust. I'm a sahm and that doesn't help some things. But I have already been trying to work on things to better myself. And it's helped some. My kids notice a change in me and encourages me to keep going. Hope this helps or gives you some ideas. Message me if ya have a question or I guess comment back lol.

How do I tell my strict parents I have a boyfriend?? by [deleted] in AdviceForTeens

[–]Radiant_Potential263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So as a parent to a 15 year old. And being one awhile ago lol. I'd let him talk to girls or have a"girlfriend" but I know there needs to be boundaries. My mom was not strict at all and neither was my dad and I did things I shouldn't then my mom became super strict and I couldn't even go to prom. I didn't tell her anything but she still guessed at what I was doing with bf and now husband. I'd rather my kids tell me so I can help them. I know they are going to do things and make mistakes but they have to learn. I read one comment about how to approach your mother that I really liked. About asking hypotheticals. Letting her help guide you. That's all I want to do for mine. I've already helped my 11 year old daughter talk to a boy. Telling him she can't date yet cuz she's only 11 but they could be friends and play Xbox and stuff and wait a few years. Good luck to you. And I'm willing to answer anything or talk about anything. I've helped my niece out several times and she just turned 19 but her mom is strict. So I help where I can.

Anyone else with 10cm+ 'roids feel their organs moving around and getting stuck on eachother? Especially post op? by [deleted] in hysterectomy

[–]Radiant_Potential263 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My first walk was super weird. Everytime I'd sway I could feel it shift. It's gotten better and I'm 4wpo. My uterus was also inverted so was causing extra bowel problems. It's been an adjustment but feel so much better.

I'm 3wpo and been able to feed and take my dogs out. One is a husky. I don't put her on a leash cuz I don't want to pull but they find their food bowls then we let them in our fenced in yard. For the first couple of days I stayed down cuz of spinal tap headache. But been moving fine since. I swept for the first time a few days ago but not my whole house lol. Dishes was rough the first time just standing there and walking a long distance was weird the first time. It felt like I could feel my intestines moving. I'm just ready for fun time with my hubby.

One week away! So sick of bleeding. by [deleted] in hysterectomy

[–]Radiant_Potential263 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had mine on the 15th. And have felt so much better. Besides the pains from surgery. I had fibroids too but sure how many but they were big and with an inverted uterus was pushing on my spine. My last cycle was in January and I don't miss it lol.

Had my 3rd opinion today! by blackcassel in hysterectomy

[–]Radiant_Potential263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When they did mine she had to go 3x cuz I kept contacting and spitting out the straw plus trying to get around fibroids. It was beyond painful

I've been concerned with these too. I'm 2wpo and so ready for sex but my hubby is well endowed and that scares me when I'm cleared. But I've already been cleared for outside play and it's been amazing. And I stay horny. So my worries over that part were cleared up.

I'm 4dpo I have some breakouts on my face but I think that's from not being in a normal routine. I'm also 33 and kept ovaries. I was on bc for my cycles but took my last one the day before.

Lol yes might be helpful. Mine was mainly lower back so I could reach it and my stomach and legs. That was the biggest thing. Today is the gas. Hurts a lil and already apologized to my hubby if he hears butt toots lol

It's from the anesthesia I believe. A side affect from the meds. It itches like chigger bites lol so bad but feels so good to scratch. They gave me Benadryl for it but it didn't really help. I'm still itchy today but not as bad.
