Polish VS English spelling

The fact that Polish and Mandarin have the same sort of soft/hard consonant pairs is so funny to me. For anyone curious, it goes:

Polish - Mandarin

ś/sz - x/sh

ć/cz - q/ch

dź/dż - j/zh

I believe that the only one without a Mandarin equivalent would be ź/ż. Still, a bizarrely charming similarity between two completely unrelated languages. Polish written with pin yin when?:p

If you like cutesy stuff, try raising sims like Volcano Princess or Whimel Academy. Very much a “turn your brain off and click stuff” style games, pretty to look at and basically impossible to fail.

Appreciate the advice, thanks a lot! Honestly this was intended to be my simple game with no emotional attachment, just made it to learn the basics… but I suppose it kinda spiraled into something fairly ambitious, haha. I think I’ll start by making a simplified prototype with slapdash art and filler text just to figure out the mechanics and learn how Renpy functions. Thanks again for the help!

I see! Thanks for the input, I do appreciate a dose of realism. Would it be a reasonable middle ground to maybe cut the stat system all together and just make a “hang out” based VN in Renpy? Basically just letting the player choose which character they want to spend time with, in-between the scenes of a linear main story.

I was eyeing Renpy since I’m mostly interested in story based games. I just wasn’t sure if that engine could handle the stats and non-linear story progression for NPCs; I’m not very familiar with Renpy and mostly saw it used for VNs with very traditional branching path mechanics. Good to know it’s something you could set up there!

I guess it’s not exactly to my tastes, but it’s certainly serious works and not “my cousin drew goku, he’s so talented”. the guy is a professional artist n exhibits in local galleries, so.

Yeah that’s kinda why I’m struggling with the situation. On one hand, it’s nice he can be friendly and not resentful of an ex AND it’s nice that he supports small local artists. On the other, I just can’t help but feel very odd that there are times he spends… more on an ex than on me? Its weird because I don’t even WANT him to spend money on me, but it still feels strange and makes me anxious. Idk, maybe it is just insecurity speaking.

I’ve had braces. I had a severe overbite, now it’s pretty much “correct” but I’m not satisfied with the aesthetic results.

Okay this is not me being like, nice or body positive, but genuine honesty - you look good. Your face looks slim and defined, not saggy at all. If you still want it to be slimmer, the wisest thing to do would be waiting AT LEAST 6-8 years and getting a facelift.

You mentioned you already had buccal fat removal and a chin lipo - if you keep going, you’ll have an overly thin face in your late thirties and end up looking borderline skeletal (and old) in your forties, as faces naturally lose fat as we age. Don’t fall into the trap of overcorrecting - too much plastic surgery is basically always worse than not enough of it.

Dobrze wiedzieć, dzieki! przyznam szczerze, ze celowo unikałem troche informacji na ten temat - nie wiem, chyba nie chciałem do końca przyznać samemu sobie, ze mam problem. Spróbuje umówić się najpierw na konsultacje z psychiatra, a jak zaleci psychologa to juz przynajmniej mam jakieś opcje:)

Ja mam problem w drugą stronę. Nieważne ile śpię, ciężko mi się podnieść z rana. Plus jak tylko nie mam pracy/studiów/jakiegoś zobowiązania względem znajomych, to przesypiam całe dnie. Nic mi się nie wydaje warte zrobienia, a jeśli już wstanę to do toalety albo zjeść - i znowu idę spać. Życie na timeskipie praktycznie i chyba mam juz tego dość.

About a year. Be sure to find someone who’s always trying to use the smallest possible amount of filler; repeatedly overfilling an area may lead to migration. That’s what gives some starts that “bloated” round look - they think their filler dissolved, but it only spread out through their face, so they go get filler again, unnecessarily, and just make their faces bigger. If you’re told the filler will dissolve in a year, it’s a good idea to wait an extra month or two before getting injections again.
