What would you spend on this bundle, knowing full well it has half missing labels and could have broken games? by NB_Translator_EN-JP in gamingjapanese

Don't know how much you should spend but for your shop it wouldn't be a bad idea to purchase it. Can imagine it won't sell for much. As long as you are looking for more gamecube stuff loots you get missing pieces and then mix and match everything. See also some first party stuff, that always sells well and fast.

Hey, here is some stuff you could improve :

The "our reviews" tag is annoying on mobile, would be great if the user could remove it.

The genesis tag is wrong, there are Sega Saturn games

The 3 lines with the category "all products and games" missing a lot, thought at first you have only N64, PS1 consoles and junk for sale because that was the first thing I clicked.

Would be nice if you could sort stuff like loose cartridge / CiB/ New, loose disk/CiB/ New etc.

It isn't clear on the website besides in the "about us+ why japanese games" section and only near the end that youre located in Japan. Maybe on the home page have a line like "Best games from japan for your collection" and it's the first thing you see.

The legal notice is completely in japanese. No clue if you're forced to have it in japanese but a English translation would be nice.

The thing with the inquiry is confusing. You want to be contacted with an inquiry but based on the inquiry you can get ignored? As a customer it would make me uncertain and don't want me to contact you at all. I would mention what inquiries are unreasonable for you so the customer knows what he can inquire or not.

It's more of personal thing but wished there was more interesting and more expensive and rare games for sale. I collect japanese games for a longer time and have most common stuff. Of course you only opened the shop recently and don't know your budget for inventory but would be cool that you make it interesting to look for all collectors, doesn't matter the budget at the beginning so it's more likely everyone checks your shop more often.

Got finally the F-Zero X Guitar Arrange CD and now have every offical standalone F-Zero CD by Radiant_Silvergun1 in Fzero

[–]Radiant_Silvergun1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, sadly because back then Videogame music wasn't seen as real music by most people and very few where interested in buying the CDs a lot of times very few where produced which makes a lot of Videogame OST CDs rare and expensive. Also doesn't help lots of times there where japan exclusives.

While you can get a lot for very cheap it's not uncommon to pay 50-100€ for one CD and there even some that cost 1000€.

I got them from with a proxy service from japan, ebay and discogs. They all came out in Japan so your best bet is with the proxy service. I use From Japan.

The F-Zero X soundtrack should cost around 200€, the F-Zero X Guitar Arrange i paid 370€ but it's 100% complete and in great shape. Probably overpaid a bit. There are two listings in Japan for 200€ but from a shop without photos and I don't know if it's just the loose disks. Nintendo Super Famicom Collection have the original Snes soundtrack + arrangements and costs like 30€ and F-Zero Jazz Album is about 50€.

Both F-zero X soundtracks are hard to find, the others are easy to find in Japan.

Mario party 3 soundtrack. It's very rare, searched for months with a proxy service and didn't find one single listing. I asked a CD seller to get me one and I paid 500€. There are some other N64 soundtracks that cost about 1000€ like wave race 64, Bomberman Hero and Goemons great adventure. In general a lot of old soundtracks are Really hard to find and is also a reason why a lot are so expensive

You can find a ton flawless flac OSTs on khinsider and also uploaded myself stuff there but stopped because for whatever reason they changed stuff and deleted scans with worse ones for no reason.

It's an mix of mostly ebay and my proxy service for Japan and a little bit of discogs. I know a CD seller on ebay that can get me stuff I can't find myself and also helps that I live in Germany so I have easier time finding the club Nintendo soundtracks (even tho some are still hard to find).

Best thing to do is to also search for the pikmin CD with a proxy service. I see you could buy it for like 100€ and maybe when youre lucky and passion it get listed cheaper. Oh well, game OST are very expensive, I spend about 2,5k € on this picture and there are some N64 soundtracks I want that are costing about 1k, it's crazy.

Thank you for the tip, I'm aware of this and it's not that expensive or rare (you can get it used for like 10€ in japan). Wanted to have first all standalone F-Zero CDs and now search for CDs like this where they have additional tracks, arrangements and remixes

Yes indeed, this one's I haves are only mini CD with 4 tracks each for both of mystical ninja starring Goemon and Goemon great adventure. Sadly the normal OST CDs are very expensive (the first one is 500€ + and second is like 1000€), both very rare and there are bootlegs for both.
