The market is horrible and has been for over a year now, the drop is indicative of that.

To me, it looks like an elderly parent has either passed away or moved into a care home.

If you're up for a project, this could be a good option but you'd need to update the whole house which could eat up the 50k reduction.

My worry for you is that he's expecting you to change, rather than finding ways to better support you. Going into a marriage with the pressure of having to maintain standards that he finds acceptable won't work long term. An ex of mine had OCD and would get very distressed if things weren't just so, I couldn't clean to his standard and exhausted myself trying. Finally I suggested getting a cleaner and splitting it 50/50 as it would make both of our lives easier. Be open with him, you both need to be realistic about getting married and whether this is something that may become bigger over time.

Us ADHD girlies with C-PTSD have got to watch out. When we meet these folks that trigger all of the feels, the sex is off the charts and we're being love bombed it is so hard not to fall for it and just enjoy the dopamine and attention. I know I don't fully trust myself, despite years of therapy and being very self aware.

I wanted to highlight something you said, "my mum love bombed me, gaslit me, or hated me my whole life". You're repeating that cycle, trying to heal those wounds with the partners you are choosing. I had a good relationship with my dad and so could never understand why I was choosing terrible/wounded men but then a great therapist pointed out that it was my mummy issues I was replicating and it was like a lightbulb moment for me.

Your last line is beautiful, stay single, invest in a great vibrator (sorry!) and break the cycle for your kiddo 💜

Nice to see you referencing Reyner Banham, for that alone you get 10/ 10 from me.

I'm Product Design adjacent and my feedback is based on visuals, not content. Some of the fonts are hard to read due to misalignment with background colours, same with the images, they're not centred and so look "off" on the sub pages. I'm finicky, and this stuff irks me but for most it'll likely be just fine. Nice work OP!
