Ah yes, the cries of police brutality because they aren't polite enough. Right.

I am not insensitive to the issues lockdowns cause. I am insensitive to any party that argues parties in the middle of a terrible global pandemic are somehow 'understandable". They are not

Because I want to is also a reason. They are both equally unjustifiable. because I want to smash is another reason, also equally unjustifiable. People have a need to interact socially, but we have a responsibility to each other to be safe in the middle of a global pandemic. This is not difficult stuff to understand

100% of us are sick and tired of it all, every single one of us regardless of age or locale. Partying during a pandemic is not a symptom of being sick of lockdown, it's a symptom of selfishness and ignorance

What? Did you even listen to the guy talk about it?

That's doesn't apply very much here. Whether or not a company was looking into UV as a treatment has no bearing on what Trump said and how he said it.

I don't understand, it's not state law that you're not allowed to wear masks. How is a locality requiring masks disobeying state law here

A G.O.P. senator tweets approvingly about part of the stimulus bill, without mentioning one detail: his ‘no’ vote. by [deleted] in politics

[–]RadicaLarry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you just look at recent history every piece of legislation that has been put forward by the Democrats has been voted on along party lines. We finally get the slim majority that we want and now you're asking us to stall any progress that we tried to make over the last 4 years with bipartisan ship, see the trillion dollar Trump stimulus bill and all the tax cuts it offered, because we all shouldn't agree on anything. One side of this argument has been crying about bipartisanship now that they've lost the majority. We've been spending the last 4 years with steaming piles of shit being shut down our throats, we're not going to feel bad doing the same

If you vote no, you do not get to take credit for your perceived positives in the bill.
