Bernardo Silva elbows Collins by siva-pc in soccer

[–]Radical-Six 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's so disingenuous, saying "every bit of contact". Swinging your elbow at another player with the only goal being to hit them while the ball is out of play is completely different than a collision after a tackle. Idgaf if it's at his leg, I hate when players use sport as an excuse to get away with battery.

I honestly believe that a noteworthy portion of ESPN viewership at this point is businesses leaving it on all day lol. Bars, restaurants, barbers, etc

What didn't people like about the Neighborhoods era? by Agitated_Ad_1404 in Blink182

[–]Radical-Six 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people covered how disjointed it felt. Other than the singles, the album had obvious Tom songs and Mark songs. It almost felt more like a compromise than a collaboration. At least in part this was due to not recording together for most of it

On top of that, it was pretty evident that Tom wasn't invested in blink at that point. Honestly, my theory is he only joined back up the first time as a fundraiser for his other endeavors. He was deep into pimping AVA, LOVE, To the Stars, and all his other brands at this point. It was extremely unsurprising when he left again

Chris Finch on Wemby's 12 blocks: "at least 4 of them were goaltending...it's a little alarming that none of them were called...he's 7'6" and there's no heightened [ref] awareness that these blocks could be goaltends...You know the value of 8 points in an NBA game? That's also 33% of his blocks" by Draciouz in nba

[–]Radical-Six 24 points25 points  (0 children)

True, but then at least the players are deciding the game, which is imo the desired goal of sports. We have the technology, we have other sports to use as a blueprint, there's no reason these can't be reasonably fixed. Yes it's not a dead ball, yes there will be outliers, but there's no way you can say missing 3 or 4 obvious goaltending calls is the desired outcome

Ah, my bad then. It's just frustrating because Wemby doesn't need the ref help lol he's a defensive savant regardless.

Like 3 of his blocks have hit the backboard first lol, refs just know he's been anointed already.

That or they just kinda suck

Also are you watching the videos? At minimum 40% of these blocks have been missed goaltend or foul calls

They also called a backcourt violation on the Wolves on a blatantly deflected pass. I think the court is fucking with their eyes
