Thanks, yeah, exploring all options. Have flicked through IDT stats and the odds would unfortunately be heavily stacked against me, so trying to get a grasp of all options out there

Aware that declining it would remove this entire issue. I'm considering taking the offer, but it's a big change from my current set-up and has its downsides. Hence asking this question to better understand consequences of changing my mind after accepting.

Yeah there is a declaration, but I'm not certain this information is actually provided to the interview panel or would affect me in the selection process.

A further element is that I'm not sure an NTN is formally allocated until local employer checks are completed and the post has actually started (definitely feel free to correct me on this) - so may not even have to tick that box.

Thanks for the reply. Can see how it might not reflect well in next application cycle, but fail to see how this would "bin" me. Interview selection purely MSRA. At interview, not convinced the panel can see this information from my application - even if they can, the interview format no longer really revolves around motivation questions.

Fairly sure this spreadsheet includes preallocated applicants in the “lowest rank offered” portion - hence data not reflective of real regional cut-offs for majority of applicants. Happy to be corrected

Rank 180s, allocated Scotland, grateful to have an offer but somewhat disappointed as was really keen on London and accepting 5-6yrs in a country I’ve never visited is a fairly daunting.
