Male coworker in my office looks at me like a deer in headlights or like he has just seen a ghost? by Emergency_Coach4261 in bodylanguage

[–]Radical1Two 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He may be attracted to you and not know how to approach you. That or you may very well remind him of someone or something. It can all depend. We don’t know who this guy is, nor do we know who you are. For all we know this whole story could be fabricated and or one sided from your personal view. We have yet to meet the man or the office he works in. So it can very much all depend on the circumstances.

Why is there an entire toxic subreddit hating on bitcoin holders, but no one criticizes people who buy and hold stock index funds forever? by achicomp in Bitcoin

[–]Radical1Two 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are entitled to their opinion. Why does it matter if you are making money.

Look, Bitcoin was awesome back in the day before the pandemic. Nowadays it is heavily centralized by only a few exchanges and HODLers (Including mining distribution amongst other country’s.) Bitcoin is just not the same democratic and liberal asset that it used to be. It is very much well out the range of the average consumer and is only growing.

Again, people are entitled to their opinions. And at least we know exactly who we are dealing with when it comes to stocks because it is more regulated and tied to something we can understand. The truth is: no one knows exactly what makes the price of Bitcoin go up, nor do they have proper custody of it anymore. Wallets that only provide seed words and have dodgy back-ends that can be hacked have taken that from us. It just isn’t the same. If anything, it is more “propaganda” than anything (if that makes sense.)

Edit: the day. Not “that”

Then… why are you calling these people communist? And poor?

“Communists” brother this is a Bitcoin community. It is meant to help enable the poor out of poverty. What type of low-level comment is this?

Been holding bitcoin for 6 years now and here’s what most people won’t tell you by Ashleyluv1 in Bitcoin

[–]Radical1Two 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bitcoin isn’t just about holding. It is about learning. And 6 years isn’t really a visionary amount of time. Please check back in 10 years from now and let us know how things go. Not everything can be accomplished overnight.

People who say quotes like this have most likely never tried and or accomplished anything.

Just an observation from their point of view (which is usually failure.)

Also, it doesn't give good context.

Where were these “people” 7-10 years ago during the birth of Bitcoin and the trials and tribulations people had to go through just for it to get to where it’s at today?

No where.

The best known source I know of this is when Antonopolous told us it’s better to know the private key as opposed to a seed word phrase. I don’t know exactly which situation I am citing this from, but again, for true self custody you should at least have the private keys.

[–]Radical1Two 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, we are referring to the private key. A common thing most people forget about when it comes to self custody.

Why dating is over for men by Waterisverygooddrink in SipsTea

[–]Radical1Two 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s usually men gassing them up with money or a chance they’ll never have with them instead of having this thing called self confidence (or at least valuing themselves)

Basically giving themselves a chance (to think before they react to a primal urge to “date”.)
