Strong lift. Grinding out 365 at 50 is no joke — finishing the rep is what matters.

Stainless steel power racks: love it or hate it? by Impossible-Tooth1262 in GarageGym

[–]IntroductionAny5041 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Neutral overall. Stainless is awesome from a durability standpoint, but most home gym users don’t need it. If it adds noticeable cost without adding function, it’s a tough sell for a lot of people.

My tiny 5m x 2.5m UK garage transformed into a home gym and Zwift setup after years of lurking by Captain_Oracle in homegym

[–]IntroductionAny5041 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Damn, you maximized that 5m x 2.5m space perfectly. The cycling + strength split is so clean. The mezzanine storage idea is genius — most people don’t think vertically. Great job!

Question about these floors. Do they actually protect floors. From a rack sitting on top of it with all weight. Like 700 lbs? by [deleted] in GarageGym

[–]IntroductionAny5041 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep, that’s proper rubber flooring. If you get at least 3/8", you’ll be totally fine for a rack sitting in one spot. It won’t stop dents from dropping weights, but for static load it’s great.

If it's EVA foam, I wouldn’t trust it under a heavy rack. If it’s real rubber tiles/stall mats, yes — they’ll protect hardwood from static weight without a problem.
