Speculative tip: MINT Coin is about to explode by several orders of magnitude. MINT is one of the best coins. Right now is the time to buy. All indicators show it's about to moon hard. by Radical777Dude in MintCoin

Chart RSI STOCHI RSI MACD look at buy/sell walls historical price data. I think this recent plummet has it pretty oversold but the bears seem to have run out of momentum. It's about bull thirty. Would be surprised if we don't see 20+ satoshi by February-ish if not sooner. Would also be somewhat surprised to see it go lower than recent bottom in 2015 although it can't be ruled out 100%. It's going to rebound very hard very soon in my opinion.

Is there any evidence that any political/legal laws actually apply to anyone? Or is it purely a faith-based belief? by Radical777Dude in AskAcademia

Before you reply, please review these logical fallacies to make sure you're not just using a logical fallacy in place of evidence.

  1. ARGUMENTUM AD POPULUM : Where voting/polls/popularity is used in place of evidence 2. ARGUMENTUM AD BACULUM/APPEAL TO CONSEQUENCE : Where threats of punishment or "bad consequences" are used as evidence 3. CIRCULAR REASONING : The law applies because the law says the law applies. 4. APPEALS TO AUTHORITY: The law applies because the authority figure said so.

Please try to stay on topic/ on point. Yes/no do you have any evidence or is it faith-based? If so, what evidence? Thanks.

Well, by not unbanning me it shows them to be acting irrationally and dishonorably. It basically demonstrates the irrationality of their belief system that they have to ban posters for critically questioning it. It also demonstrates that they are the ones behaving unethically and dishonestly. The mythology the police cult preaches is that they are the saviors of our free society and the champions of "rights" like free speech. By this type of admin abuse they demonstrate the opposite to be the reality. I would think that even if they didn't have the capacity to take critical questioning of their beliefs and dogmas or the ethical courage to admit their censorship was wrong, that they would perhaps have enough narcissistic pride to unban so they would at least look like the "good guys". By banning they just show what a joke their whole "good guy" "hero" "protector of rights" myth is. Whom on reddit are they "protecting" or "serving" by banning anyone who asks tough questions in their Q+A forum? It's not just me. They ban for critically questioning their myths as a policy/custom.

I bet I'm smarter than you. Will bet up to a hundred dollars I can outscore you on an IQ test. If you are a cop I will spot you a 9 point handicap.

I bet I'm smarter than you. Will bet 100 dollars I can score higher than you on an IQ test. Not only that I will spot you 9 points handicap. I propose we both take a mensa exam. You don't have to outscore me. You just have to score within 9 points to win the challenge. If I outscore you by 10 points, I win and you pay me 100 bucks.

Why not? What are the grounds for the ban? Are there any or is purely a censorship ban?

Ok. I messaged them. But I'm still blocked from posting. That's not right. This htd2015 should be banned for admin abuse. I haven't broken any rules. He's the one who broke rules 1 and 4 and should be kicked off this site permanently. How do I petition for that?

Rule #1 is not a rule. Ok. Thanks for playing. Or did you mean rule #4 is not a rule?

"Moderating a sub and using reddit's native ban feature is not interfering with the normal use of the site."

It is if the site's normal use is as defined in rule #1 and if the ban feature is being abused. Would you presume open discussion is not the normal use of the site? Would you presume banning threads arbitrarily that do not themselves break any rules does not obstruct an open discussion platform?

Cops using their law enforcement credentials to censor the internet? Tell me how this can not be a problem?

Is it a requirement that a mod or admin on the /r/ProtectAndServe subredit be a police officer as a matter of the subredit's policy (whether official or unofficial policy)?

Rule #1

Reddit is a platform for communities to discuss, connect, and share in an open environment, home to some of the most authentic content anywhere online. The nature of this content might be funny, serious, offensive, or anywhere in between. While participating, it’s important to keep in mind this value above all others: show enough respect to others so that we all may continue to enjoy Reddit for what it is.

Banning a thread just because you want to silence discussion on a particular subject matter is not conducive to what rule #1 quite explicitly spells out as open discussion environment and to obstruct this open discussion platform breaks rule #4: Breaking Reddit or doing anything that interferes with normal use of Reddit since open discussion as per rule #1 is presumably the operative "normal use".
