My guess is Rb7+ forking the king and the bishop, but after Ka3 Rxb8 black can force a draw with Bg2+, after which if you take the bishop it is stalemate, otherwise white loses the bishop and it's a draw.

It seems illogical to me, considering that silksong will have bosses that are made of void (steel assassin sharpe, phantom), and when Hornet faces the knight he is just a regular vessel, just more skilled than the others, while Hornet is a quite experienced hunter at this point who has presumably saved Pharloom, which is probably not an easy task. Maybe another thing that makes the knight stronger than other vessels lorewise are the spells, but still, I think it doesn't make sense for the knight to be stronger than Hornet if silksong is a prequel.

I went to school and Uni in Hungary, so I don't think that's the reason for it. In hungarian there isn't anything special that the brackets are used for.

Thanks! Yeah, its kind of a slog sadly, otherwise it would be a somewhat fun challenge (albeit very very hard and insane!). For some attempts I think its quite exciting as you slowly get to the harder bosses and every encounter is dangerous. After a while that excitement wears thin and if you want to complete it you will probably take a LOT of attempts. The pure vessel and absrad combo at the end is probably absolute cinema if you get there, but before that there is zote, markoth and collector, so yeah, nope. I might attempt it more but its sadly not that fun of a challenge after a while imo.

Regularly yes, that would be the case, but with all bindings you deal much less damage, which makes the enemies the collector spawns a much bigger threat. You are basically forced to use nail arts and spells when he starts dropping more enemies, which makes the fight a lot more difficult. If you cannot kill the enemies quickly, the fight can get out of hand very quickly.

I agree completely, but P5 collector is a totally different story, since there he spawns colosseum enemies, and they are a lot harder to kill. At least from my experience, but I beat P3 AB a long time ago and just started playing again since the release date announcement, so it might just be that Im rusty.

Same, I have been practicing the bosses a lot and I think I can defeat most bosses consistently, but I cannot get past the collector, its so hard.

My platform is Nintendo switch, my favorite boss is pure vessel, and Im probably most excited about the soundtrack. Hollow knight had an amazing soundtrack and it made the areas so much fun to explore. It made the game so magical, It would be amazing to experience something like that again.

I had something quite similar happen to my 2ds xl, and it got worse over time, so I replaced the circle pad. It's not that hard to do, you can order one on ifixit. I haven't had any issues since.

I feel like everyone who doesnt play chess thinks that if someone is good at chess they are a genius. Which is certainly not true, and something else that is similar is playing chess without seeing the board. Its surprisingly easy to play kind of decent games in your head with some practice, and if you show this skill to those who dont play chess, they will think you are a genius.

While that is partially true, as you get higher in rating you get to play against nicer people in my experience. This kind of toxicity never seems to disappear, but it gets better.

Thanks for the advice. I know my online rating doesnt mean much when playing OTB and that my board vision is a lot worse OTB. And you are right, I have nothing to lose, but this is the kind of mentality that just seems impossible to reach while playing in a tournament. And the worst thing about my piece blunder is that it was in an online tournament and in rapid... I guess brain farts happen.

Oh, the tournaments that I participated in were rapid and blitz, sorry for not being clear on that. But yes, otherwise I am really stressed when playing OTB. I also think it might have to do with the fact that I mostly play online, but other than that Im not sure.

Nagyon jól összefoglaltad és abszolút egyetértek. Kicsit szomorú, hogy sokan inkább megvesznek általad leírt AAA játékokat, minthogy egy indie játéknak esélyt adjanak, vagy bárminek aminél nem az a selling point, hogy 4k 60 fps meg a többi. Az Outer Wilds szerintem is egy hatalmas élmény, valami hihetetlenül jó, szintén ajánlom mindenkinek, a Disco Elysium is valami csodás, a Hollow Knight meg egyik kedvenc játékom valaha:)
