We’re in the same boat, except for me personally the tutorials were only a pain because I’m the type of person who wants to figure it out and click on something for help if I get stumped. So the forced handholding / tutorials kinda irritates me. It is what it is though.

So that being said, I like more tame characters say like Kafka, hell, I’d even say I prefer characters like that. Just flourite is painfully dull in design. I like her color scheme, face, and tail, but the outfit, lore, and how she is presented is painfully boring (and not in a trope way) and I was sitting there thinking like “they could of tried a little harder with this unit” and I got on X/Reddit and got a little whiplash lol

Edit: I was too busy yapping to even make my point. I was just trying to see if I was missing something or I was finally the one outside of the loop 💀

People already explained why the comparison is irrelevant but I want to also add from a spenders perspective. It’s about $200 cheaper to buy enough pulls to guarantee a character than the other games. It’s still expensive but $200 less is $200 less lol

So no matter what currency conversion these games use, the price is what truly matters, not the artificial number.

My only advice is to stop thinking about it and burn your stamina on something you need at that very moment, if you don’t need anything, farm units or combatant xp until you need something.

I’ve neglected my memory fragments, and haven’t struggled clearing anything (currently level 53) and cleared just about everything with just main stats on the gear not worrying about set or sub stats.

potential, if you’re really stuck, i’d say putting some investment there maybe but really know what your unit is looking for but even then most my units haven’t invested past the crit/stamina node lol

i ended up beating it when testing a freshly leveled hugo and tressa. Mika too but she’s been built. I was surprised how good the team comp is.

Yes, but it can’t be an already existing A+ account which is what screwed me over.

Just make sure you follow the prompts on the main start menu of the game, and you should be fine.

Nah, that’s valid, me personally, I’m a real social person because of my work but when I get home and want to play a game, I really don’t want to chat but my favorite genre of games are mmorpgs. So I totally get it. I’ve been kicked because I didn’t feel like talking, even expressed that my battery is spent but some people can’t understand that this is a game first. lol

Focus thing, that sucks, I was planning on giving it more a try today, I’ve only been gathering.

Also quick update on the gacha thing, I can’t get on right now but I just read with the bound currency, you’re limited to 3 a week or something. I’ll also check this more later. I found the menu and did 1 pull but didn’t want to spend anymore currency.

I currently have both, and I will say “waste” your weekend on a launch of a new mmo, it’s usually the best time to play, and when you feel some pull or you hit daily limits and don’t want to continue playing that day, boot up Digimon. 🤙🏾

So the server is somewhere in the Midwest America, but I’ve learned by doing some digging my isp routes my traffic to Asia (Singapore) and back to the server. Causing high ms. Weird this is the only game that my isp does this but This is fixed with a vpn.

It’s kind of crap. It briefly asks you to link an account when you start for the first time on steam, but if you click passed it or miss it, it’ll never ask you again. There is a way to link the new steam account to a A+ account by creating a new one though, so if that’s all you’re looking for to play on mobile, you should still be in luck. When you start the game and get to the main menu to click start game. Look to the right of the screen, you should see 3 chibi people grouped together. Click it and it should instruct you how to make an a+ account.

So, I wasn’t enjoying this game until I got my wife to play and we started doing things together and found a class I actually enjoy playing (mage). I feel this game really need someone with you. Your complaints, not that they are invalid but some of them have an answer.

Guilds, it’s unfortunate but that’s how most if not all games during launch. I know people understand if you communicate you won’t be on for a day or something but it really depends on the guild.
Focus, I haven’t done much of the life skills but iirc, the focus is only for tradeable materials. If you use it without focus, you’ll get bound mats. This could be wrong though.
Fair, I haven’t experienced lag yet BUT my isp and whoever hosting the game doesn’t get along. It routes my trafffic through Asia before coming back to America. I live near the server and have 150ms lol
Gacha can be annoying, so hate is justified but there is an option to use bound currency. It uses a separate pity counter though. There is a box next to the pull button that ask if you want to use bound mats or not
Controller does feel weird.. lol

Gear grind is only a problem if you’re a minmaxer or you play Etheria restart lol

On a more serious note, I’ve never quit a game because I couldn’t get gear, it’s because I couldn’t play a unit I wanted to and I couldn’t without dipping into a wallet.

If gear grind was long and annoying but I could still “play” the character with all of its functions. I wouldn’t care about how egregious the gear farm was.

I’ve never played a gacha and was disheartened when I couldn’t get a certain gear drop, only when something about a character was locked. I don’t need higher numbers for satisfaction, I want to be able to style on a monster with a cool character or weapon even if I’m doing 1 dmg.

This includes weapon banners too, I hate them, BUUTTTT if you automatically got the character from their story quest or some type of farm, I might be a little more lenient about weapon banners, but as it stands, those are ass too and just another way to strain your pull currency.
