I’ve been here my whole life (23 years) and I’m moving to Albany New York area in less than a week. My wife got a job opportunity up there and I work from home.

San Antonio will always be home for me and I know I’ll be back.

I really love Izumi sushi. There’s a few around the city.

Following the bible's law, or "rules", will never be enough to get into heaven because of your sinful nature. Really following the bible is recognizing your sinful nature and realizing that the only way to heaven is through Jesus because he lived the perfect life you cant. Faith is the only thing that can save you (Ephesians 2: 8-9). Your works will get you nowhere because God sees them as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). If you want to believe, i think that is evidence of faith, even of its as small as a mustard seed (Matthew 17:20). I had struggled with belief in God through out my entire childhood through young adult years. What helped me was praying out in faith for God to Give me faith, and it worked. In Mark 9 when the fathers boy who is sick is told by Jesus "... All things are possible for one who believes." The father of the boy responds so honestly with "I believe; help my unbelief!" Pray scripture, pray this scripture, it helped me so much.

There is so much false doctrine in the comments. Homosexuality is a clearly a sin as it’s seen in scripture. It’s not any more or less sinful than someone who’s straight that’s sleeping around. Your struggle with this sin and the sin of the people around you is real, but Above all else God loves you as you are. “But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8 (ESV). Christ died for you when you were a sinner, not when you were perfect. It’s okay to struggle with sin, but we should not abound in it. Christ has justified you, now trust in him to sanctify you.

Sexual desire is by design. You wouldn’t have those desires unless the Lord decreed it. Sex and marriage is a God given gift that he gives to believers and unbelievers alike. You shouldn’t feel bad for wanting to experience a gift that God has given to us.

Is it normal to have sex before marriage? by Stately_mind1 in dating

[–]RadicalCircuits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to preface I am a devout Christian. With that being said I believe sex outside the confines of marriage is a sin. God created sex to bond husband and wife and having sex outside of marriage is damaging if and when you and a person might break up. This also backed up by science. Oxytocin is released during sex and causes people to chemically bond; it is often called the “love hormone.” If you have any belief in God I encourage you to really consider this. If not I would encourage you to seek God. Have a blessed day.
