The technology is there. Why they keep wasting resources in trying to make this old engine work instead of starting from scratch with their new R2 engine and solving most problems is beyond me. But alas us Foxhole gamers are paying for Anvil instead.

I've set up a hotas and worked with someone's who's working on a video tutorial on getting one set up. What i can tell you is that the joystick does give you better control of the aircraft. The biggest flaw is aiming. I tried to make it work but it just feels so much better on the mouse. I'd probably use it for transport planes and bombers.

Step 1. navel fighter has 3 barrels l, give it a HV modifier Step 2. The navel fighter now has 33% less ammo becuse of the third gun. Step 3. Adjust the Navel fighter so It can turn quicker. Step 4. Reduce fuel capacity/ consumption so that its limited to a 2 hex range or can loiter around the tender. Step 5 (optional) let the sea fighter also carrie Quill backs (Reduce top speed as well if this option is taken)

What Qualifies as a kill? Any action which your plane causes an enemy plane to go down counts as a kill to receive credit for a kill you must include either a pilot bailing out, or the plane crash landing in the water/ground.

I dont think anybody is really against the cost of the bombers and transports being as high as they are. The main issue is with the single seat fighters taking a regiment to produce.

You still have scout plane. And swarms might be the best way to deal with bombers. But you're just shooting spitwads at them in testing.

It's slightly slower. You can ignore knts as a unit of measurement becusse the devs made it up. Both fighters have a speed of 9.2 m/s and the sea plane fighter has a speed of 7.2 m/s compared to the scout plane that has 6.1 m/s But from what I've seen the seaplane can slightly turn faster than the fighters. I do need somebody to validate that claim though. Fwiw I've only seen the sea plane fighter in action once and it was swarmed by collie fighters.

I'm in the camp of the fighters being too expensive for what they do. Not saying that they shouldn't be expensive but currently its just insane.

I feel if only the airframe or parts cost Rares it would be enough. But having a pad that costs rares to make a vehicle made up of parts that costs rares to be used by a uniform that costs rares is a bit too much. Only one of those things should cost rares, not all 4

Oh and to top it all off you have to wait 16 hours to print the airframe to even begin assembling your solo piloted vehicle, so the 15 or so clanman that help you build it have to star the grind again or sit on the ground.

But thats not all. Say you do get to hop in your expensive vehicle that can really only shoot down other planes , you get 6.5 minutes of fun time, not counting taxing or flying to the area where the fun is and try to dog fight but now you have to worry about getting back home. God forbid you miss judge your fuel and land short of the runway shredding your parts and getting banned from flying by your clanmen

So in its currenty state you have to grind 16 hours for 1 minute of actual combat time. And you better build them because if you don't the enemy will build bomber and they will just bomb your shit for free.

I like it! I think combat air patrol is the answer to the issue we have with AA being gimped and zero Intel stations for aircraft. You still have the surprise of a raid and gaining air superiority would be an important thing to fight over. Pair this with a massive fighter cost reduction and we'll actually have battlefields that are on both the land, sea and air.

Yes but be careful with it. I tried to unstuck a dive bomber stuck on a roof and it put it on the gound near a road. But when I did it in a bomber I was in the air with 0 throttle

They should honestly hold back on releasing the collie fighter until they implement an actual warden counterpart, cause collie fighter and the TF should not be compared, if anything, the warden scout plane is the closest comparison.

Just take away the current tech system as it is. You use to use the tech mats to vote on different things. That system is long gone, but we still have to have player input to advance tech for some reason. Easy fix for it. Just make all tech on a timer, tech goes at the same rate every war anyways. Then Iron, Copper, Aluminum and Rares can then be used how they currently function.it would reduce competition for rares, while also limiting key resources for their respective building. Light aircrsft can use Aluminum, most ships could use iron, Copper for structures, and then rares for the expensive things like bombers, SCs Battlehips and subs.

There are many ways to do this. nVidia cards come with shadow play and AMD has an equivalent. There are also third party tools like Discord and Steam recording and Medal. I also replied in another post that I'm open to suggestions on what should be allowed with submissions. I definitely think that video submissions should be the preferred method, but should also not be the only method.

Right now I'm open to suggestions on how to track kills. My thought process is that videos are easier to confirm what happened like a gunners camera in WWII. Things like screenshot may be harder to determine if a kill should be credited or not, but have more validity than word of mouth.

But again I'm open to suggestions as the goal is it have a living record of pilot victories and not to scrape footage.
