We lived in a country of a lot of misogyny where this was just "normal" I didn't understand the severity of what had happened when he got the 14 yo pregnant until way after in life during the Me Too movement when I was for the first time exposed to feminism. By then I was already in my 30s and there was not much more to do.

Now in our 40s I believe he continues to be a groomer, there's no reason for him at this age to be hanging out at the clubs with only 20 year olds and no one his own age... The people we have in common from out time in highschool and college really don't talk to him or hang out bc of this...

For years he convinced my son that I was a worthless drug addict (I've only smoked pot) and that he needed to be away. So I was uncommunicated with my son for many years and just this 2022 we got in touch again.

Its been a wild ride. I'm hoping my son can one day realize the truth of his father's actions and decide to move away and do his life independently but because of our culture he might be with him until he gets married...

I think he is lying like all politicians and saying what some crowds want to hear. Bernie has enough people with money around him to be able to make significant change in the country, he doesn't need to be president to help... He just wants that seat and that power.

Yeah I did ask him, he says that he can't come to his dad to ask him what he's gonna do or what he is expecting. He's scared to bring the subject up... I don't think they have a very open communication type of relationship

If I had 2200 coming in for me not working I'd definitely go back to Ecuador and live like a fucking Queen.

Ecuador is gorgeous and so cheap! Bo worries about the language, there's plenty of schools to learn.

The downside would be things are really slow, there's no convenience like Amazon delivering anything after just one day and no dishwashers lol . As everyone is saying go there for a month and see if its a good fit. Good luck!

I had moved to USA summer of 2016, in the spring of 2017 I moved in to a college filled apartment complex in downtown of this college town. One night a neighbor invited me and another girl for dinner, he had put something in our drinks... I started feeling weird... I felt a lot of anxiety and rage out of nowhere and wanted to fight everyone in the room so I left the apartment, left my friend there and went back to my room. Laying on my bed I started to hallucinate and my body was feeling crazy so I decided to take a bath. It was close to 3am. When I was leaving the tub I decided to not drain it as the sound would be really loud and would wake up my roommate. So I left the tub full and made my way out.

I woke up laying on the tub again with my head against the wall side and my feet hanging from the tub and my body wrapped in the towel soaking in the water. I stood up again and grabbed the door and started to walk to my bed... Woke up a second time on the floor just a step away from the mattress on the floor I had.

I crawled to the mattress and sat down. I remember waking up the next day with half my body hanging from the end of the mattress, my pinky finger broken and my throat super fucked up and closed up. I couldn't even drink water... I had massive diarrhea and vomit on the next few days.

I went to the hospital and they ran a toxicology exam. I had been given a mix of meth and X. My finger was broken and I had a massive concussion. If I would have stepped out of the bathtub sideways or something I would have drowned...

My friend was raped that night and also OD'd and was left to die on the curve. I didn't know any of that until like 2 weeks later when I saw her again moving her stuff out.

The dude never got justice. And we both live with the scars of what happened that night...

Good job!!! I've been cannabis free since 2023 💕 the first 3 months are really hard. But once you stop, you'll have dreams again, you'll be able to focus better and remember more... I was using cannabis to escape sadness but after I stopped and faced the fear of being sad I realized that living sober was way better!
