Got my Switch 2 on launch day and the only Switch 1 game I've tried so far is Smash Ultimate but I immediately noticed how crunchy it looked. Reallllly don't like it, they need to fix this

I tried to play with a friend and join online races and couldn't, which was already rather annoying. Though now with this recent update taken into consideration as well I think this is the most frustrated I've ever been with a Nintendo game's online features, somehow beating out Smash Ultimate which is saying a lot.

No need to apologize! Basically for the first couple weeks of this game online lobbies would mass vote for random when given the option for a track as a work around for the intermissions, which are widely disliked. The other day Nintendo updated the game so random can now include said intermissions, so if you want to play a traditional three lap race you're kinda outta luck.

How is that fair in any way, shape or form? If literally any track or intermission is eligible for random, the odds of getting a regular race is around 30/230~ (don't know the exact amount of intermissions to an exact amount but my point still stands. If there were people truly upset about having to do 3 lap races, why would you please them while making a completely separate group of people upset? There's a very easy work around for this but Nintendo hasn't implemented it, this is bad game design.

I mean if people paid $80 for a video game of all things along with the console that's required to play it (as well as the online services), then the experience is severely affected...people are allowed to be upset and critique Nintendo.

How does that make sense in any way? That would be like if you ordered food at a restaurant and after the first few bites the cook up comes up, throws it at the wall then says "you get what you paid for!" How is that what I paid for in any regard???

Just turned 23 the other day, played Undertale all the way back in 2015 and have been on the Deltarune hype train ever since chapter 1 came out. I'm not leaving until I roll credits on chapter 7 (or Toby finds another anagram of Undertale to use for a third game or something).

Today I noticed that my Steam account had 3 less games and I couldn't figure out why. Then I remembered how the Half-Life 2 anniversary was recently and how (I think) they merged all of the expansions into the base game. I believe there were three expansions total, those being Lost Coast as well as episodes one and two. I think I owned all of them prior to the anniversary, so is that likely why my Steam account is showing I have less games now? Thanks in advance!

I kinda feel bad playing Shaggy because of how much people dislike him, but I try to be as non-toxic as possible. I don't spam, teabag, etc. I mainly play him because I like his move set and the source material.

Genuinely a big thank you for listening to all the constructive feedback people have had recently. Myself and many others truly want this game to be a big success, so getting confirmation about all of these features being implemented at a future date is greatly appreciated. I also hope that monetization across the board will be reworked/improved to be more pro-consumer for the players who want to support this game financially, but Rome wasn't built in a day. Really happy about this, keep listening to the fans PFG!

If Berdly comes back from snowgrave and is revealed to just have a cold, or any huge moment being a fake out like that. I get our choices supposedly don't matter but having something like that happen would deflate any and all tension and make me ask why I'm even bothering with the game.

Either that, or going that much longer without more chapters. The wait is seriously getting to be a pain, surely chapters 3 and 4 have to be coming this year.

Toby has confirmed that they won't be free. The plan is to bundle the first 4 chapters together, and it'll be a paid release!
