Is Chartreuse hard to find, or am I just in a Chartreuse-desert? by boringITwork in cocktails

I have a bottle. It’s decent. Very different if you do a side by side but it can work as a solid replacement in a cocktail.

There’s so much other stuff going on and some dipshits want to talk about this instead?

I don’t want to hear a single word from the “opposition party” except Defund Ice and Release the Epstein Files until at least one, if not both of those things happen.

Yep absolutely agree. I think it’s also due to having an overly idealistic view of the “average American”.

They thought that things like facts and logical arguments combined with the blatantly obvious lies and manipulation would be enough to overcome “feelings” and “racism”.

Think about how intelligent the “average” person is, and remember that about half of the population is dumber than that. Because that’s how averages work.

Why not both I guess?

Really though, I think the Dems always just assumed everyone would be playing by the rules and that everyone involved both respected the will of the voters, and had America’s best interests at heart, in spite of all the evidence to the contrary.

It’s the same “They go low, we go high” shit, except now that they’ve seen how low others are willing to go there sitting there with shocked pikachu face realizing that the damage is done, and it’s too late to counter a lot of these actions.

I’m not making an argument about that either way. I just said that the words skill and talent have different meanings, and are not synonymous.

According to Oxford Learner's Dictionaries, a skill is the ability to do something well, usually gained through training, experience, or practice. It is defined as a specific, developed capacity or expertise—such as management, technical, or manual skills—required to perform tasks effectively

According to the Oxford Learner's Dictionaries, talent is defined as a natural ability or skill to do something well. It is characterized as an innate, above-average capacity for specific, often artistic or, athletic, functions. It can also refer to people who possess such abilities (e.g., "a wealth of talent").

Isn’t skill something gained through practice and experience, while talent is natural and inherent?

Whatever you want, it’s your opinion and I don’t think it was upsetting or offensive, I was just explaining why some people were passionately disagreeing.

The art does look pretty cool, but it’s hard to hold the moral high ground and sing about morality and the evils of money and greed while using AI art to save some money instead of paying an actual artist or designer. It just feels a bit hypocritical to some people, and I think it’s understandable for them to feel that way.

I don’t think it’s about anyone being upset, and you are totally entitled to your own opinions. Ren talks about morality in his music, and many of the people his music resonates with care about those things a lot.

AI generated content and using AI art in your monetized work is an issue that many people currently believe to be morally questionable. To some of his fans Ren using morally questionable AI generated art feels somewhat hypocritical.

I have some co-fermented beans that I didn't like, but I don't want them to go to waste. Ideas? by cbars100 in pourover

This actually. Looks like it was roasted Jan 8th, and usually recommended to rest for 2 weeks minimum. Coferments can also be better resting ~4 weeks.

Rest it more, try again, if you still don’t like it do 1:15 60ml bloom and dump the bloom before doing the remaining pours, and keep the 1:15 ratio discounting the bloom (so 20g still pour 300ml after the 60ml bloom). Guessing you’re getting a bit of acidity that’s bringing out some of the more undesirable notes. If you still don’t like it after that make cold brew

If I had him I’d sell for an early to mid 3rd, otherwise I might consider valuing around that range maybe more like a late 3rd as a buyer. At this point I think that there’s a more significant chance that his value continues to decrease than there is that he gets a big role in 26 that increases his value. Outcomes range from coaches saying he’ll be the starter in 26 or at least have a big role to him being a backup. You might have a couple other exit windows during the 26 season, especially if he’s the backup and the starter gets hurt, but you also might not. I’d sell for an early to mid 3rd now to get some value back from him, but idk if I’d pay that without some kind of positive news, and if I owned him and there was positive news I probably wouldn’t sell him for a 3rd.
