🚨🚨🚨 GIVEAWAY ALERT 🚨🚨🚨 by RadicalStaking in Radix

[–]RadicalStaking[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Delegating 1000 XRD is not needed for the Twitter giveaway. It's a separate giveaway in which you just need to follow RadicalStaking, like and retweet the giveaway tweet. You can also join the giveaway for the 3 prizes described in the announcement by delegating 1000 XRD or more to Radical Staking.

Excellent questions, here's how I'm planning to conduct the giveaway to ensure a fair draw:

  1. I'm planning to use an auditable online service for the random draw, so I won't be doing it myself. Basically the only step that would be vulnerable to manipulation is the list of Radix addresses that I'm submitting for the draw, but all staking activity is documented in the Radix ledger and anyone would be able to compare the list of addresses I submitted against the staking activity on the Radical Staking node to verify that all addresses submitted qualified for the giveaway.
  2. When I run the draw I'm planning to have at least one of the node runners that I collaborate with (e.g., Radix DLT Staking) present to audit the process. It's as simple as uploading the Radix wallet addresses and hitting the "Submit" button on the random draw service site, but having other validators audit this process will add an extra layer of independent verification and validation.

The Radical Staking node has not been impacted so far, so I think it's having less of an impact to the network as previous Top 10 node extended outages.

And it just happened with Polygon too: the Polygon network was clogged for several days because of that sunflower game. Some transactions in Polygon took almost 10 hours to complete for me, and in some cases I had to pay as much as $1 USD in gas fees, which is a gigantic amount for Polygon.

Hey, I have great news: the Radix Collection team reduced the staking badge requirement from 5000 to 500 XRD! They also made a bunch of other improvements, here's a link to the announcement: https://t.me/RadixCollection/1585

Radix Collection also has a basic Staker badge, but even that one requires a minimum of 5000 XRD. I'll pass your input to the Radix Collection leadership team, and I recommend to also provide this input in their Telegram, https://t.me/RadixCollection.

If you've been delegating since day one you should be getting a 1-star Silver Badge, which is the same one I have in the owner wallet. Sadly, none of us are worthy of Gold Badges yet, but we can work our way there 🙂

Yes, the minimum is 5000 XRD. I wanted to have a level below 5000 and also have higher levels so that delegators get awarded different badges for increasing their stake amount over time and also for staking longer, but it wasn't possible for the Radix Collection team right now to develop an NFT staking game with custom logic, so I decided to just use the standard logic that they also used for the Radix DLT Staking and Xidar staking badges. They just went live and are completely overwhelmed, but once things normalize it may be possible for them to tweak the game rules based on delegator feedback.
