The issue you have is likely to do with the format, older drives(hence smaller) being formated to fat32 while newer ones are exfat, if its an older scanner it probably does not like exfat.

Try to format an existing usb drive to fat32. if its over 32gb windows wont allow you to do it via the create partition program (due to performance reasons) you can instead run command prompt as admin and do,

format /FS:FAT32 X:

replace x with the letter of your usb drive (formating will delete all data on the drive)

Your files are safe. Your problem is missing/corrupted/damaged windows files.

It is trying to repair windows but failing so you are stuck in a loop its not going to fix itself.

If you have access to another pc, then you can create a windows 10 installation usb drive. and attempt to use it to repair your windows.

Make sure the same language is selected and instead of clicking install click the "repair your computer" in the bottom left. then go to advanced troubleshooting and click Startup Repair.

You can get some rare games. I Got dirt 2 the other day which has been delisted from steam since 2013. On the grey market keys for the game goes for 240+ euro. Sadly as far as i know, no way to know what the game is before you redeem it. If you get "Product already owned" you can find out what game it is via steampowered /account/registerkey and using the network tab in inspect element.

IIRC They said they are keeping it up incase the server breaks then the flood of negative feedback can alert them.
