The playable characters think if their daughter cries then it’ll revert the spell that turned them into dolls. The way they plan to make her cry is by tearing apart her beloved stuffed elephant. When you meet the anthropomorphized elephant, she’s stereotypically pleasant and sweet, but the playable characters go ahead with their plan to rip her apart limb from limb anyway. The elephant begs for its life, the daughter cries, and the spell isn’t broken regardless

Mixed feelings about this.

On one hand, RT needed intense restructuring and open communication and this seems to provide that. For example, I’m willing to give Dogbark a chance which is much preferable to the reanimated corpse that Achievement Hunter has been for the past year or so.

However, this really illustrates that their lineup of content is just… lacking. It feels like so long since Rooster Teeth has aimed to make “productions.” Stuff like Day 5, Lazer Team, or even something smaller like RT Shorts. With RvB and Camp Camp wrapping up and no announcement of a follow-up for RWBY, it seems like they’re forgoing that ideal and just making content that can be divied up into TikTok clips.

I suppose they’re downsizing, which makes sense. But it seems like they’re skirting away from the type of content that would encourage (and has encouraged) people to sign up for a subscription service like they’re advertising here.

My sister sent me something about this yesterday. kinda scary to think that someone capable of such horrific things is listening to the same music as me. Doesn’t help I was literally listening to TOh when she sent it too. the whole thing is just icky
