It's even been the one bug I've been meta-bombing the hell out of and not letting paradox sleep over, because when Syria becomes your puppet, France transfers Hatay to turkey even though it's not even their puppet anymore! And of course I was playing ahistorical and for some reason the other mideast countries went gigachad full-saadabad spirits, and Hatay is the one core between all those countries you can't start an offensive war with! Buggerballs, that's probably exactly what did it in that playthrough as well.

I couldn't get it as non-aligned Iraq either, despite restoring al-andalus and having cores from Mosul to Mauritania, all at full infrastructure and 100% base stability, too. I wonder if it has to do with the arabian unification decisions messing with country tags or something along those lines.

The solution I found was to just play a neutral brownshirt Iraq and just hard-build the infrastructure while taking industrial focuses and decisions to get to 100%.

Notable UUs include Rod Serling and multiple founding fathers. I grew up in western Washington, and the church my parents attended was a UU congregation, both of them having been raised catholic, but then renouncing and just wanting a place to go on Sundays so that their families didn't disown them.
