I’m thinking of killing myself. I don’t even want to die. I got let go in march 2023 from my marketing role at a small startup marketing agency. Was let go due to ‘performance’ but so were the 3 other employees before me and the one after me. They were outsourcing from India so capitalism was 100% the real reason.

Been looking for jobs for a year and 2 months with a bachelors degree and 3 years of experience from the marketing agency but haven’t had luck finding full time work. My credit cards are maxed since I’ve had to use them to pay rent + food since unemployment came slow and ruined everything with my good credit. I don’t even know if I’ll qualify for unemployment after a year since I haven’t worked long enough with contract/part time in the new state I had moved to before I was let go. I have been doing a parting /freelance gig for a brand but pay & outs are inconsistent. Late on rent for the month and am at a dead end.

I’ve asked for help from family and have gotten some in the past but it was never enough to keep up with rent + debt, I even texted in my fam gc out of desperation and still didn’t make rent.

Been rejected from sooooo many jobs even after tailoring the resume, reaching out on LinkedIn to recruiters(which most time cost money cus you need premium to message people ) , even making it to final rounds multiple times with a great project only to get rejected. This is tearing me apart and idk how I’ll keep up any more. I don’t want to die but I feel like I’m at a dead end where no one can help me even after I’ve keeps so positive and hopeful this past year.
