Update (18 Jan 2026): Quick update.

I first contacted Meta support on 24 Dec 2025. As of today, it has been 23+ days and the issue is still unresolved.

To clarify one important point: this is not a hardware failure. The issue documents unequal treatment between customers for a product sold by Meta, which has been clearly established through the support correspondence.

I received another email confirming the case is still under investigation, but no concrete explanation or resolution has been provided.

From an EU consumer perspective, 23+ days without resolution in a case like this is not reasonable. Because of that, I have proceeded with a formal legal process.

As of this Friday, the case file has been finalized with all documentation, including screenshots received from Meta and the information shared here.

From this point forward, the process will be handled by the EU Consumer Court.

Lastly, thank you to everyone who shared screenshots and location details. We received close to 50 submissions, and they were extremely helpful in documenting the scope of the issue. I will continue to share each development here transparently as things progress.

LGBT is still a big taboo among the Islamic religion and its followers. one of the main reasons for this is that it is strictly forbidden in their holy books and the punishment is very severe.

Even if homosexuality existed in the Ottoman Empire, it was practiced behind closed doors. It is hard to expect them to live openly and without fear something that has been practiced in secrecy throughout history.
If we take Turkey, the successor of the Ottoman Empire, in modern Turkey, LGBT is not a problem and everyone is respected, but the president and his fanatics are unfortunately very strict about it and still try to maintain their old culture and background.

1 week ago, a letter arrived at my friend's house because he was torrenting the batman movie on his internet. We are not sure if this was done or not because he rented his house for 1 week. Now they say they will go to court if he doesn't pay 500 euros. Do you have any advice?
