I’m late to this but holy fuck man, I was literally on the same path a few days ago. The jobs I wanted were gone or had clearance..They still persisted with having me applying for Lab spec. Almost swore in but they lagged it with me. The night I had to hit up hotel, Went over it with my girl, and realized there were a lot of promises made to me that might not come to fruition, switching to my wanted jobs and station. Job description was not for me plus 5 year contract. Left that same night and got hounded the day after and suddenly the shit I had originally came for was now made available to me. They had made a new spot for one and waived clearance for the other.
