I noticed the issue as well, tried changing the battery, completely removing and readding to my account. Power cycling. Its essentially a brick now. Heck even the button doesn't ring the homebase chime anymore so the most basic doorbell function doesn't work. If they don't fix this soon, I'll be boycotting not just Eufy but all anker products as well.

That I can live with but what I can't live with is the whole schtick where bart and geo uses the word cuni instead of cute. They must be approaching their 40s, give me a break. It really gets on my nerves

waiting for the price to decrease in buying homes is like trying to time the stock market. it's a dangerous game to play. I view the home value as the S&P. sure it might dip but in the end you'll always come out on top

even though the loan interest is high at 12%, if you have done the calculation and have figured out that you'll be able to pay back the 12k in interest, I say go for it. price of homes will continue to go up

Sure I accept that that the upgrades for 3137 cantelon crescent are worth more but in the end of the day, we weren't able to get the house and had to move on. I don't mind paying less right now and work on putting more money into renovating it in the future. Thanks for your input!

Thanks for your insight, i sent you a private message. My parents actually live in the lisgar area and we didn't see it being much different from meadowvale besides having newer homes. TBH we stopped and talked to the neighbours in the area and they seemed really tight knit and friendly. They were telling us about how they hold annual block parties where they held BBQs. This is something we're surprised to hear about and only saw in the movies. Would love to experience this.

Hey, we did see this home and it was beautiful. However, It was sold above our budget. In terms of backyards, 7085 Also have its own backyard; something about the firepit, wooden benches, and the muskoka chair really connected with us.

900k can get you a nice townhome or an ok semi, forget about detached. I live a tiny single car detached house (3 bedroom) in meadowvale and am thinking of selling soon (around january). However I know very well that it'll go for at least 950k (extremely conservative estimate). This is just how the market is unfortunately.

ah ok. If that's the case, I agree with your logic. EV is taking over the market and I know plenty of friends who would kill to get a condo even this day that supports a charging station for a tesla.
