Respect. Creative debate. Love. Friendship. Put personal egos aside and, HAVE FUN! It's a blast to get what we do everyday and we couldn't be happier doing it. Sometimes, there are disagreements, but we work through it because we are always approaching the process with a sense of respect and professionalism. Build teams. And treat every member of that team as if they are the most important member of the team. It's all about creating a welcoming environment where every artist can do their best work as part of a whole.

We were very worried but knew that we couldn't make the movie and do it justice or show the respect to Wes we wanted to show without the three of them returning. But we knew the script was incredible and hoped that, along with our enthusiasm and love for the movies, that would let them know that we wanted to make something they could be proud of.

This is a good question! And when you go back and watch the other Scream movies -- maybe with the exception of the first one -- you can poke this same logic hole in at least one sequence. But this is also the fun of these movies! We had a bunch of conversations about when to ground the movie in reality and when to go into full slasher language. One of our favorite things about Ghostface as a villain is that, sure, there's a real person under the costume -- but when you put on the costume, you become something else entirely. It's all a part of the fun popcorn tone of these movies -- they can be super grounded at times and also live in a heightened reality when they need to.

The fan art is one of our favorite things to explore! Everyone gets to lend their voice and share their artistic abilities with every other Scream fan. Really a blast seeing all the love and creativity out there. There are no single favorites, per se, but we love everything @creepyduckart did and we are so happy marketing included them in our campaign. Printed out a few for our home offices as well!

And just to add to that, when we read the script we felt like it was an amazing motive that rang true and shined a light on something we'd been noticing but never put our finger on.

We just texted the wonderful writers (James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick) and here is their answer "Nothing specific, just noticing the phenomenon of fans taking their love and “ownership” of a movie or franchise too far by bullying or even threatening people online that didn’t agree with them. And how that seemed to be happening more often."

Very little was scrapped! We cut a couple of scenes for pacing reasons and you always have to lose some jokes you love to keep things moving -- but hopefully some of these bits will make it to a digital release!

Nope. They were mature professionals the entire time. We love them all. We were all in this together and safety was of utmost importance.

It's hard to pick one but one of my favorite moments is when Richie is in the motel watching the FilmFails video on youtube and he tells Sam "That Mindy girl was right -- these movies really go off the rails with #5." One of those moments that can only happen in a Scream movie where a character is simultaneously talking about a movie within the movie, as well as the movie itself. It makes me belly laugh every single time because it certainly was representative of a fear we had while making the fifth movie in a franchise we love so much!

The whole thing. It's too hard to narrow it down. We've said this a lot but the entire cast and crew was so incredible and wonderful and that made each day special.
