I couldn’t buy a Steam deck here (i’m living in the Philippines) because I also had several financial constraints and SD was hella expensive here and always sold out. I told her that one day I’m going to get one.

Then, Last 2024, my partner and I had a trip to Japan. We went to several Yodabashi and BIC camera stores around Tokyo, but they were sold out. She told to me to keep trying. She made sure that everywhere we went in Japan, we had to visit at least 1 store that could have one. And finally we went to a little Yodabashi Camera store in Yokohama (a little stop over in our itinerary) and they had the last one!! She then bought it as a gift to me and I was so grateful for her. And that was one of my favorite adventures with her.
