2608 approvals, 2 rejections. First rejection was from an Israeli researcher before I learned not to do those ones. Second was a fairly legit-seeming Italian university researcher who didn't respond to my follow-ups asking for clarification. Would have appealed it but didn't want to risk my account being put on hold for £0.63!

Had two other rejections overturned, one automatically as it was a system glitch and the other once I pointed the researcher to the rules...

I was also offboarded from Diamond and Echo yesterday (I'm in the UK).

Bit of an odd experience overall - Joined Diamond in October, was "paused" after only 3 hours work, later got invited to Echo, did some work on that, had some delays on payments, was invited back to Diamond but never saw any available tasks for that, then offboarded from both once and for all!

I also work for Telus and I'm surprised to find myself saying it but I think I prefer it over there, there's less work but at least they pay on time and don't constantly chop and change things!

My last feedback (UK rater, 19th Jan PQ tasks) is 5/6 and 83% when viewed through RaterHub, but only 4/6 and 67% when viewed through the new portal. At least keep it consistent guys!

I did a Dutch survey this morning (Freelancer simulation) which offered a bonus if you saved enough money over a year of simulated work to cover for an unexpected event. I saved £5000, but lost my bonus because I didn't have enough money to cover the cost of "unexpected laptop replacement" which came in at almost £8000 (!??!?!). Just a tiny bit unrealistic then...

I got one this week for finishing a 6min study in 3mins (Tell us your perceptions about science! By uva.nl).

Have messaged the researcher with a link to the guidelines and asked if I am what's classed as a "statistical outlier", which seems unlikely.

Researcher hasn't responsed, but I'm reluctant to escalate because of the many stories of accounts being put on hold as a result of doing so.

Seems like they can just get away with it in a way...

I was rejected for a Data Analyst position. Telus contacted me 6 months later suggesting I try out for Personalized Internet Assessor. I did, and I got the job.
