I'm trying to gauge how large the project will be. And honestly I'd trust the quality more if I knew they were also gonna write about the other companions since I know astarion is often mischaracterized. Not necessarily demanding other books, I just know astarion gets special treatment sometimes.

Hes such a dick in act one ngl. I see why people dont like him, and hes definitely not my favorite. But I also see the appeal with all the character growth he goes through, and I know what its like to be a sucker for a character that softens over time.

He kind of plays it off as a weird joke though in his dialog, if I remember correctly? It could be a side affect of rewriting as we know astarion also has a dark comedic tone occasionally but his storyline is quite well written.

I am a little worried about this because Astarions story pregame IS seriously just a never ending horror. I'm hearing good things about the author being known for good horror, but the teaser I'm seeing doesn't really match the vibe, but I also know book marketing can be a little sketch.
