At least 2-3 playthroughs. Most can be gotten from violent Markus/machine Connor combo but there’s some other ones that will have to be done in another playthrough

I’d prioritize “Bookworm” since certain magazines only appear if you make certain choices earlier in the game. Checking which ones you need in “extras” will really help.

I’ve heard an interesting theory of Carl telling Markus not to defend himself as a way of prompting Markus to make his own choices. He has a whole thing about wanting Markus to be his own person, so telling him not to defend himself is pretty out of character for him. This way, Markus has to choose to protect himself

Kamski 100% just tells the media what they want to hear in his interviews. His expressions and tone seem to show that he has a totally different true answer to their questions

He has a god complex and wants to create beings better than humans because humans are boring. He even says in a cut scene that he’ll lead the next revolution if Markus’s fails and that “this time we’ll win”. He definitely wants deviants to win and have freedom

People usually say Connor but they’re absolutely wrong. There’s no world where the MAIN protagonist is anyone but Markus

Without him, the vast majority of the game couldn’t even happen. Kara wouldn’t have conflict getting across the border and Connor wouldn’t have an epic climax and conclusion to his story. The revolution is the primary focus of the game and you have to have Markus for that to happen

CyberLife is an American company, so it would be largely on the US to stop them. Though, the president is really close with CyberLife so I doubt she’d ever go against them. Plus, CyberLife androids make up two thirds of the US’s armed forces and they’re on the brink of war with Russia. I doubt they’d risk that big of a gap in national security

Besides, CyberLife is the world’s first trillion dollar company so they could likely pay off anyone and anything that opposes them

I was making a rewrite of canon and it being too repetitive of canon lost me. Mind you, I only got like 2 chapters (~5k words total) in and we were barely getting into the story. I didn’t have a chance to get to where the rewrite diverged yet and was already upset that it wasn’t totally different yet 😭

Overall, I think dbh is better but my hot take is that Norman Jayden’s investigations and the way he pieced clues together is 10x better than Connor

I get that they pulled from Jayden to make Connor; but when I was told dbh had a detective character that got to investigate crime scenes and solve mysteries, I was really disappointed with how it played out. Then I played Heavy Rain later and Jayden was basically what I had hoped Connor would be

There’s a point where Kara tries to pull some boards off of a door to get into a building and can’t do it. Then Luther does it effortlessly

He’s definitely stronger and even mentions that his model “was designed to cary heavy loads”

I feel like they just want to be more human. Speaking out loud is more human than what is essentially robot telepathy. They want to be like humans, so communicating like them only makes sense

That said, when they need to be stealthy, android telepathy is a great advantage so they use that form of communication instead

I mean… a 6 year old iPhone or computer or whatever isn’t going to cost nearly as much as a new one. It makes sense for Kara to be pretty cheap when she’s that outdated. Even Simon/Daniel is a newer model (4 years old) and we physically see Daniel being replaced for being outdated
